There are counter stories Hodgson has rejected Liverpool- anyone's guess at this stage but if Al fayed buys Hodgson's loyalty, Fulham will be serious players in the transfer market this summer (unlike Liverpool).

And Fulham have £200m of debt already and are mince if Al Fayed takes up a different fancy.

Liverpool fell apart when they changed theor ploy of promoting from the 'Boot Room' Dalglish would manage, yes, but he would bring in ex Liverpool lads as coaches and return to the old ways.

I think, if I was on the board at Liverpool, that is the route I would go down, it would unite the fans, players and all concerned at the club.

Full interview will be aired tomorrow I beleive. He goes on about Spurs and whether it is time to move on, he is asked about potential moves to Villa and City and states that he hopes to move to a club that cn progress him back to the England squad.

I'd call him a Jackass, but that would insult donkeys. Wonder if he realises he blew it a couple of years ago when he left in the way he did? Probably not. I would take the player back, but not the man.

Out of interst and in relation to the interview, its the same cameraman and interviewer as the one where he outlined to the watching world of his intentions to loeave Rovers.

This interview is conducted in the morning at the Buddha bar but he doesnt seem to have been in the same pi$$ED condition as when he did the Rovers interview.

The players should be more worried about their abysmal performances last season that G & S getting involved, if they actually put the effort in the owners wouldn't have to get involved.

I would rather have 2 of the bigest tossers as owners than some no mark johnny foreigners who know nothing about the club or football...... ;)
