thenodrog Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 He's a world class player who would make any side. No he's a bloody good club player and thats it. Your judgement is flawed eddie cos we've all just seen him flop on the world stage for goodness sake! World class my arse.

World class my arse. Well said, Gord. Lampard is clearly an exceptional PL player, but "world class" is a term banded about without any real thought.
Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2010 Backroom Posted August 15, 2010 The refereeing in this league is so inconsistent, steeevie G just got away with a really poor challenge without a yellow yet yesterday Pedersen was booked for next to nothing. Then again had that tackle then been Eboue on Gerrard the card would probably have been straight out
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 From the reply of that tackle it very well may have been a red and all
roversfan99 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Liverpool are in serious need of a new striker for when Torres dosent play. Ngog is dreadful.
tcj_jones Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Gerrard's been pushed back to CM and he's had a great game so far. Liverpool utilize more of his qualities when they play him in CM and not behind the striker.
Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2010 Backroom Posted August 15, 2010 Then Wilshere gets booked for similar, awful refereeing
BuckyRover Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I notice the Sky commentators talking about how "rubbish" the World Cup was. Do you think they are bitter?

Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2010 Backroom Posted August 15, 2010 Ha ha Joe cole off for a tackle hardly any worse than gerrards non booking. Both nasty cowards challenges but the difference in punishment is vast
brfcshabba Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Wonder what Wenger would have said if it he didn't get a red.
HemelRover Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Never s sending off that, stupidity Of course it was. Dived in, with both feet off the ground and scissored both his legs(and then body) round the arsenal lads one leg. A red card every time. If it was one footed and sliding along the ground I would agree with you. However, it wasnt.
Mattyblue Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I notice the Sky commentators talking about how "rubbish" the World Cup was. Do you think they are bitter? Yet, they see the positive side in everything The Best League In The World offers up?! That's odd.
brfcshabba Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 "Not that sort of player" Oh that's alright then. Guarantee that if Cattermole did the same tackle he would have been off.
BuckyRover Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I get the feeling that Hodgson won't last long. A strange thing to say after 45 mins but nevertheless that's what I'm saying.
roversfan99 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Liverpool are in serious need of a new striker for when Torres dosent play. Ngog is dreadful. He sure shut me up
Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2010 Backroom Posted August 15, 2010 For gods sake sky are sickening, apparently they interviewed cole at half time and he was upset and worried about the player who's leg he could have snapped. And they are endlessly repeating how he isn't that type of player. The pandering to the big English players is pathetic

Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2010 Backroom Posted August 15, 2010 They've already made the excuses for him, eager to impress apparently.
CrazyIvan Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Joe Cole made a bad challenge. That's it. It wasn't anything to do with being eager to impress, he made a very rash challenge that deserved a red because it could have ended the other players career. He might not have previous but he has now... This lot do talk sh1t though...
Backroom Tom Posted August 15, 2010 Backroom Posted August 15, 2010 Ha ha another keeping howler that's up with the worst of them
