Al Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Same here. We have Mame Diouf till summer, no reason we'd pay money now. It would allow us to have another domestic loan.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 What type of player is JJ? An ageing defensive midfielder from a foreign english speaking country signed from a foreign league... that rings a bell, we might have one of those somewhere already.
moerpho Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 a sh1t one Seriously? You've seen him play regulary? Genuinly interested - not looking to start another flame-war. I'll repeat my previous question: Anyone from Germany or someone who watches Bundesliga regulary care to give us some info on Jones?

greggyk Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Oh dear lord.. Jermaine Jones is a league above anything we have in midfield at present.(when fit!)..But he woundn't consider Rovers if he was ! Schalke finished 2nd in the Bundesliga last year, but the Bundesliga is a great league shown by the team really struggling this year desoite still being in the Champions League Top signing
Guest Walshy Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 anyone seen this Apparantly Signed Already
super_badge Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 From Wiki, yes I know On the 14th january he signed a four year deal with Blackburn Rovers. The deal will tie him to the club until 2015. EDIT - Walshy, beat me and you are driving
braddock Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 anyone seen this Apparantly Signed Already Nobody cares what Wikipedia has to say.
Guest Walshy Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Nicko, Any truth behind the wiki that he has signed?
Taggart Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 An ageing defensive midfielder from a foreign english speaking country signed from a foreign league... that rings a bell, we might have one of those somewhere already. :blush:Serioulsy, I think he is 29 so not too old yet buddy. I read that he has been demoted to playign in the reserves this season and is looking for a move away and he is an American playing in germany - nice
67splitscreen Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Jones.3 games for Germany (friendlies) and two caps for the USA at 29, think opinions on his quality could well be controversial. 15 appearances this season, 1G 9Y 1R
Valois Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 anyone seen this Apparantly Signed Already How did you manage to find that whilst driving? Ony joking mate Wiki can be unreliable at times,Nothing has been confirmed as yet, guessing Plunkett is just going on assumptions at this stage.
braddock Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I wouldn't bother calling him a cultured midfielder just yet, before anyone tries: Jones courted controversy in 2004 for an interview for popular sports magazine Sport-BILD. When asked whether there were gay footballers in the Bundesliga, he said "hopefully not."

Bobby G Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Plunkett LT - Roque signed About Adam. Can I assume that SEM may sign his rights up and thus fund the deal and be due any transfer fee in the future? Or is that not allowed in the PL?
Guest linganzi Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 ROQUE COMPLETE - Welcome back I expect him to discuss the morals of why the grass isnt always greener in his press conference
Hughesy Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 To the conspiracy theorists – SERIOUS QUESTION – Is there any more active/ busy teams in the prem out there right now??
