he6rt6gr6m Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 think the 4 players Kean mentioned, that he will bring in by the 1st game, will be M Diouf, Santa Cruz, J Jones and Benjani. And Santa's and Jones' wage will take up a big part of that £50m for the next 4 years.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted June 22, 2011 Moderation Lead Posted June 22, 2011 As a squad player I personally can't see the issue with Benjani, low wages, not a disruptive influence and will chip in with the odd goal! Granted, I'd like our first choice strikers to be less injury prone, and a bit more youthful!
adsfortheblues Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 So we give the big clubs our home end. Except for a brief period of building work the BB end has been the home end since the 70's bloody hell yes I know blackburn end is the official home end chill people. Just saying darwen end has more to offer in terms of atmosphere and yes might have a few young chavs within there but they cause no trouble an usually are just there to have a good day and yes granted get ######. It also funny most people I know have decided to leave bbun end an riverside and convert to darren end, it's sold out I believe.

He only needs this season so he can qualify for residency, I'd prefer him in many ways to Roberts at least. We need as many players between Roberts and playing time as we can get.
Wilko Rover Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Vagner Love lovely little run for CSKA there, nice assist. If we want Brazilians, yes please. I'd take him on his hair alone...
newfan Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Vagner Love lovely little run for CSKA there, nice assist. If we want Brazilians, yes please. I'd take him on his hair alone... I am also watching the game I am following roman shishkin
mark1875 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 it's sold out I believe. to be fair, since only a quarter of it was on sale, its no big achievement has Benjani's renewal been confirmed yet? cos i hear conflicting things
Wilko Rover Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Wow... Jan Durica, CB/LB just scored a cracking free kick, keeper didnt even move. So can play CB/LB and good from set pieces.. sounds pretty good to me + what we need. Steve Kean i hope you're watching.
brian_gallagher85 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Didn't think it was a free...I just hope Kean's not scouting that 'keeper...
he6rt6gr6m Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 So, we're basing targets off one game currently being played now?
braddock Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 So, we're basing targets off one game currently being played now? Your avatar answers that one.
he6rt6gr6m Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 You got any better ideas I'll stick to Football Manager. Your avatar answers that one. Well, as long as we're "Winning" when it comes to the crunch...
texasrover Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 According to Nicko, yes. guess i missed that post. My bad
aXept Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 guess i missed that post. My bad I dont think he has posted it in this thread. Its in the "Right-Back" thread. So, no problem
he6rt6gr6m Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 According to Nicko, yes. My primary reply was correct then. I'd love him here. Superb talent.
aXept Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 We cooled our interest in Serge Aurier? Hope not. That would be an amazing signing IMO
daveoftherovers Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 How dare you. Benjani's re-signing has made my summer. In fairness, we are only formally into the 2nd day of Summer, and/or, you have low expectations, a quick pant glance confirms I'm largely unexcited about Benjani returning, I shall review that statement if plays more games like he did against Liverpool.
nicko Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Can we get the Benjani thing straight... He was talking to TWO clubs close to London at the start of the week. Neither could match his terms - or wanted to. The stuff in the local paper today is just a player hoping he still has a chance of staying at Rovers. The only deal he would get at Rovers is a very low basic...and I am not even sure that is on the table. He wants more money and he wants another year in England to gain his passport. Don't stress about that situation. Patience may be rewarded when it comes to bigger matters...
neophox Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 One of the teams interested in Benjani should be West Ham and Big Sam.
chaddyrovers Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Thanks Nicko. I'm glad we are not resigning Benjani. I think he will go to whu. Anyway Nicko, can we expect any signings to be made before the weekend?
neophox Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Thanks Nicko but is rovers negotiating with any players at the moment?
