Miker Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Vicente is someone I think we will end up with. Apparently our only rivals are Newcastle.
davulsukur Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Sounds like he plays as many games as Grella though unfortunately. So not 100% convinced we should be after him.
Roverdale Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Sooooo many people spell this Vincente!! It's Vicente.. may want to change the name of the thread. I hope we sign him, he's on a free so if he doesn't play much it's not the end of the world, although his wages would be large. Hopefully our medical staff should be able to get him fit for the majority of his time. God knows they've had PLENTY of practice!!
alexanders Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Speculation: According to reports in Spain, Blackburn Rovers are facing a fight to sign winger Vicente from Valencia as Turkish giants Galatasaray have offered more money than the Premier League club.
67splitscreen Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 From a rumour site. 01 Sep 2011 14:43:58 Close friend of Physio DF, says Vicente is definitely in Blackburn today to undergo medical and to discuss potential terms. 2 late offers came in last night for the free agent. Blackburn and he thinks another championship club?. Vicente stalled signing for Brighton on agents advise to listen to both the other potential offers before deciding who to sign for.
pick32 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 brighton's message board Some of the members on there seem to think made a move for him late last night and they are all worrying to say the least, don't think its true myself might of had some legs if we hadn't of signed vuckevic.
Hekla Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Would take Vicente, good experience and a good option to have, especially as a free transfer.
Hughesy Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 We finally have pace for our wings (Hoilett, Olsson, Vukcevic) - so no thanks
RoversSG Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I don't mind having him as a backup if it means we won't see Pedersen again.
Iceman Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 If he is fit, then deffinately have him as back up instead of Gamst and Dunn. Doubt it will happen though, as we look like we will go with what we have until January. Squad looks okay, except for another right back, a JJ type player and maybe another striker.
The Rover of Finland Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Does anyone know is there a updated free agent list anywhere? Surely there must be few players worth for look without a contract. For the championship clubs I would recommend Finnish international Mika Väyrynen. Not good enough for us but a decent player for less competetive leagues.

I thought he could play as a striker as well. I would take him, as he is decent.
67splitscreen Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Joined Brighton after all, confirmed two other clubs were in for him. GuillemBalague Guillem Balague Soon excellent news for Brighton fans. Despite last minute interest from other richer and more famous clubs, Vicente will play for Gus Poyet
The Rover of Finland Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Totally off topic but don´t where to put this. Young very talented midfielder Aleksander Ring is a starter for Finland today. He plays for HJK Helsinki and played very well when they played against Dinamo Zagreb and Schalke. I hinted Rovers about him in the summer. His game reminds me of Gerrard. Probably biggest Finnish talent to follow now.
