bats Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Permanent ?? Cryer is saying it is a loan on twitter
davulsukur Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Does this do anything for Rovers in terms of incoming transfers?
budha Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Reading probably pays him whatever we pay Modeste, so they cancel each other out.
Hughesy Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Loan just protects Reading as they can then decide in summer wether or not to offer him a contact once his current deal with us expires.
LeChuck Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I can't imagine Reading will be paying all of his wages, there is no way they could afford it. We'll be lucky to get 50% I would imagine. Still, it's better than paying him full whack to play "young vs old" with the youth team on match days.

67splitscreen Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Hardly the most useful stats then are they? At leas it spurred Hughesy into acquiring the PL stats hinself. While your post contributes exactly what?. Though not upto date the nine games since, Formica has started 6 with three sub appearances while Hoilett has started 3, of course he had injuries, but as I said it will hardly have changed much.In those games one stat, the rest I'm sure you capable of finding yourself. Pass completion Formica is still around the 80% while Hoilett is around the 73%. We need both for the rest of the season that is quite apparent, shame the top brass don't see it.

budha Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 McDermott, who is expected to have funds available to spend following the investment of Thames Sports Investment, has now made his move and is believed to have agreed a fee with Blackburn for the Grenada international. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7456588/ Sky's wording would indicate a permanent transfer WITH A FEE.
bats Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Nicko has just tweeted: Surprise arrival at Blackburn. Happy days
budha Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Jerome is back? Edit: a right back apparently, but another club in for him as well.
sharpysharps Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Based on a few tweets between fans and Nicko it sound slike it could be a full back that is the surprising arrival. Maybe the Venky's brazilian bloke has convinced Roberto Carlos to join up
Puffsan Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Michel bastos would be awesome, but that's not gonna happen
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 'Decent, right back, abroad' according to Nicko. Roberto Carlos isn't a bad shout the way we are operating at the moment. Probably Cafu.
Kamy100 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I don't know the name of the right back but it's a loan deal and should be done by the end of the day. 1 out, 1 in policy.
LeChuck Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Hmm...I'd much rather have a midfielder, if we keep Lowe and Olsson fit for the duration then the full back positions are fine.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Might mean Lowe moving into Midfield LeChuck.
john.leigh Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Nicko says the new arrival played in the reserves the other day...
LeChuck Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I've never been impressed with him there though. He's hardly played any senior games in that position, he's not the man to lead a midfield through a relegation battle. Another Jermaine Jones is what we need.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Nicko says the new arrival played in the reserves the other day... I think he was talking about Goulon then, not sure.
briansol Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Might mean Lowe moving into Midfield LeChuck. Yes, that would be my priority as well. a 17 year old and a midfielder out of position are the only valid choices. Next should be a midfielder, although Petrovic finding his feets helps. still worried about right wing, maybe lowe can do a job there?
