SIMON GARNERS 194
Usyk the better Boxer and the right result. Furys comments about the Ukrainian war influencing scoring was utter classless. Knock him clean our Usyk in the re-match and teach him some respect.

Gav
Josh Taylor looked a shot fighter against Lopez in his last outing, fingers crossed Catterall can shut him up this time around.
tomphil
Looked better on the scales so i expect Taylor to start better this time but if Jack can match him i think Josh will start to fade in the second half of the fight. The Chorley mon has to make it count this time and finish the stronger. I was wrong about the big one last week though ! tomphil
Right result this time but 2 scores a bit wide, never mind though that's 2 nil Jack !!! Bob Arum is boxings Joe Biden the only guy more cringeworthy than him is Fury's fat old man and his fake act hardman act. In the bin the pair of you

tomphil
Some interesting fights on this although it isn't really as billed the best 5 v the best 5 it's more of a 'best of the rest' type event. Dubois v Hrgovic should be the pick of the bunch i can see that being a good old ding dong and quite fancy Dubois to take it.
bluebruce
41 year old Zhang battered Wilder. With 4 losses in his last 5, that's essentially Wilder's career over.
tomphil
Wilder would've been found out years ago if his opposition hadn't been cherry picked but he might have actually learned something. For a brief example comparing him to another big name puncher, Mike Tyson fought 9 of the guys who made up the top 10 (and many others aside who made up the top 10 in the years after) from when he was first crowned WBC champion in 1986. Beating 8 including several title holders and other former champs before eventually losing to another regular top 10'er Douglas 4 years later. Witherspoon was the only one from 86 he didn't fight after Spoon was frozen out by Don King over money owed to him. In no way could the same be said about Wilder yet he goes in the record books as having 10 straight defences of that crown. Boxing is an illusion at times particularly where the likes of Bob Arum are involved.
