bigsigarner Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago To be fair Blackburn played six lads who were at school (u16) in second half. Quote

Reading hadn't won a game all season Was Carter off injured or as a half time swap to manage his minutes? I can only see that he came off in the 46th minute according to livescore.com, dunno if that's after a minute of ET or the first minute of the second. From 1 up to a 4 goal capitulation second half. Looks like swapping Carter out for McIlroy caused problems. Nosegbe got on the pitch for Pitt in the 87th minute, and we conceded the final goal a minute later (after also conceding a minute before he came on). Quote
only2garners Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago A 46th minute substitution means a half time change I.e. the sub comes on in minute 46. If it had been in injury it would say 45+whatever. That sounds like giving him a half to build his fitness. Quote
roversfan99 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I think it was said earlier today that the plan for Carter would be to start at 45 minutes for the under 21s and build him up from there. If indeed he actually manages to get to the end of that very small journey up to 90 minutes in the under 21s. Quote

Another that surely has to be a better option than De Neve. Quote

Picked up several young player of the year awards too Powell probably more suited to being a creative wing back though Edited 1 hour ago by KentExile Quote

Archie Walls & Ethan Low, as well as Theo Pitt (who starts) are also from our U16s score/update Said it before, but really think Garrett should be given a go at LB, as he was sometimes in his youth career. Another thing, Khan has been criticised but there's a few U21 players that could be questioned. For example, how many goals have the forwards scored... Someone like Stritch plays pretty much every game but rarely gets an assist, let alone a goal. It is harsh to pick on him alone but the overall standard seems poor, which is especially worrying as more youth players get promoted to try to save the sinking ship. The biggest criticism, of course, for the management and ownership who have left the squad weak and threadbare. Edited 7 minutes ago by riverholmes Quote
