Agency running the club and also being part owned by a repressive oil state that owns several other clubs, one of which are current European champions. 

Not really that much of a fairy tale story. 

Not a patch on 'local businessman who built the largest steel stockholders in Europe in his own town, sells business for millions and buys own local club that then go on to be league champions.'
