I thought our crowd of 16471 Was pretty good but it was actually the 2nd lowest in the Championship!

Only Plymouth got fewer and that only by  a Hundred or two. 😰

It was a very good turn out on the day, c5,000 walk ons.

But those walk ons can’t make up for the fact we have fewer than 9,000 ST holders, so we’ll remain at the bottom end of that particular table all season.

But I’m certainly not going to hand wring about it, we know what needs to happen to counter it: sell more season tickets. But that won’t happen until we have a CEO that is willing to go down the PNE/Bolton route, unfortunately it isn’t that North East sounding bloke who recently emerged from his bunker, even if he does ‘come across really well’.
