What bothers me is I’m effectively forced to be in a divided group from other fans, because I paid for a season ticket last year and I don’t want to miss opportunities to take my dad out for the day. Even though we both agree with the idea that the owners have to sell up.
 

That’s what he wants to do btw, because he’s done it for 60 years, so going to Darwen or Chorley isn’t a solution. I suggested staying in the club or staying down for the first ten minutes, but you can’t blame him for sticking to his guns.

I have had a season ticket since 1990, but right now I’m done. My attending going forward is solely based on what family want to do. 

Personally I don't think anyone should feel in the least bit guilty either for going, or for adhering to the call for a boycott, or even for organising the boycott.

Everyone has to do what they feel is right for them and I assume everyone wants the same thing ultimately which is a successful Club.

For the Harry Potter nerds, a Severus Snape type role. And when we’re free of this ownership people will name their kids Steve for generations to come, in recognition of his extraordinary sacrifice, torpedoing his own coaching career for the good of BRFC. 
 

In reality, I suspect he’s actually the Peter Pettigrew role, betraying Allardyce (James Potter) in servitude of the Dark Lord (Jerome Anderson)… who coincidentally rose back to power roughly 13 years after his disappearance 😳😳😳😳
