They seem to have omitted the multiple dates for postponed Venkys v Indian government court cases, which I am sure are the highlight  in the calendar for many of us

Im pinning all of my hopes and dreams on the fact that they do not seem to want to have any large contractual obligations beyond the summer of 2027  ( O'Riordan & Atcheson - both 2028 would not be on big contracts)

I am sure fixtures used to be released in the morning, not at noon. Probably a request from various employers so the massive drop in productivity nationwide for the hour afterwards coincides with everyone's lunch break.

(FIFA?) Rules state it can only be open for a total of x days

They have opened it early for the Club World Cup Teams

So they have split the window in 2 as to not exceed X days in total

 

All very silly, and doesn't stop teams signing people, just prevents them from registering players to play, which as we are not playing anyway (apart from the World Club Cup teams) , doesn't matter a jot
