Mowbray was a perfect fit for our owners.

I can’t give him lower praise than that.

Yep, the culture of do the bare minimum to protect your own position.

And yet as much as I dislike him, he's still probably an upgrade on the current fella.

Whilst I understand that players are generally registered before they are officially announced, so it is still technically possible that players have been signed in time to play in this weekends game, that possibility is now looking increasingly unlikely

a countdown clock with the number 10 in a circle .

With that in mind

                   Henriksson              Dlamini

                                  Joseph

Subs

Pears/Michalski

Pratt

Miller/Garret/TGH

De Neve/Powell

Doherty

Tyjon (seeing as he was on the bench the other day)

Ismael has hinted at another acedemy debut in his press conference.

My guess is either Powell or Joseph, not sure there are any more that are close currently here?

They are probably furthest along, if it means anything, neither was selected for the U21s earlier this week)

or some other more leftfield options

Doherty hasn't yet had his debut, but has been a regular on the bench the past few weeks.  the winger was also not selected for the U21s in midweek

Lucas Houghton is a right back/wing back, who whilst not being particularly close under normal circumstances may get a chance due to injuries

Harvey Higgins turns 17 next week, so they may throw him on the bench to try to persuade him to sign a pro deal

Zack Stritch is a fairly big, athletic lad, which is Ismael's type, versatile attacking midfielder

Frank Vare & Isaac Dunn (both central midfielders) have both been on the first team bench in the past (Dunn just returned from injury)

If we hadn't just brought in another left footed centre back on loan, I would have also suggested Max Davies

Sounds bad but I really hope ourselves and QPR lose so that our game at Loftus Road goes ahead on 14th. Booked flights and hotels from Belfast as a Christmas present for what will be my 4 y/o son’s first ever game, not realising it may be rearranged for FA cup.

Away at West Ham for QPR… ut oh! 😬

Yep. I’m hoping West Ham are thinking along the lines of, we really do need a win desperately and this is the chance to get one. Also, whilst a win doesn’t do a great deal - a loss really hurts morale.

It’s been perfect timing to not have a midweek game this week and then this on Sunday.

A mix of the standard staters and some fringe players for me.

Toth, O’Riordan, Atcheson and Pratt definitely should start but give Ohashi, Cantwell and Baradji a rest and have them on the bench.

have a feeling it will be Cashin rather than Pratt, but I agree with resting some

Not wanting to sound like Im having a go, (this is just my opinion) but ....they've had a rest all week.

The sports science department should be able to assess if anyone is actually genuinely struggling otherwise it should be the strongest possible side.

Ohashi needs to play, he's the only fit senior striker we've got.

Baradji isnt even properly match fit yet, talk of resting him? - blimey.

Cantwell - need his creativity.

Toth in for Pears - anyone genuinely struggling or "in the red zone" rest, otherwise should be the strongest possible side. **

We need the win and some momentum.

** It won't be of course.
