Yes stuck on the wrong side and also having a player in front of him doing the absolute minimum won't have instilled him with confidence. -

Every bit of footage out there seems to have been filmed with a potato but on a couple of angles if you go frame by frame he clearly sticks his right arm out and knocks it towards the goal, before he finishes it off my flattening Pears. -

I thought he handled it then bundled it over, fouling Pears in the process, but I've only seen it once. -

I just see it that Gallagher went off and there was a choice of Dolan who isn't even a CF or an under 21. Waggott should be ashamed. Two seasons in a row now where we didn't bring in an attacking option in January when in a good position. And it's not just a CF. Pickering is injured and we have no natural replacement for him apart from Edun. Buckley gets injured and we either have a choice of three under 21s to replace him. I'm not sure if there's a manager out there who could work under these clowns. -

Probably the beach somewhere nice and hot, if he's got any sense. -

I just find it weird that you'd lay the blame all on the manager and players when behind the scenes it's a shambles. Especially after Mowbray and his bizarre allergy to centre forwards in his final twelve months. It was always going to come to a head because we've been struggling for goals all season and getting away with it when we needed to. Last year gave me everything I needed to know about our attacking options and whether they were up to a play off push. -
Dilan Markanday.. potential talent or ?
booth replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Because they were bringing in a centre forward, screwed it up and by that time they'd already let Markanday go. O'Brien and that young lad from Rochdale weren't the only f*** ups. -

Oh he's gone in the Summer, no doubt. To be replaced by the next Owen Coyle style appointment. -

Weird take when we have -2 GD, the manager asked for a striker and didn't get one, and admin screwed up the O Brien transfer. Not speculation but documented fact. Over the entire season our GD has been poor compared to the others at the top so it was always going to be an issue if it came to battling for a play off place. -

Both have better goal difference than us, especially Luton. Millwall are as inconsistent as Rovers. -

With the current squad we have some very inconsistent players capable of playing well now and again, combined with some decent players, kids still learning their trade, some awful players and a top scorer who is sleepwalking his way through every game. What sets us apart from other teams at the top is scoring goals and after the lack of investment over the last two or three years it's hardly surprising. -

This is a rhetorical question isn't it. -

It's a reason why we don't score so many goals though. We haven't signed a striker since Summer 2019. -

This is true, most people including myself thought we'd get beat by more than one goal tonight. Instead it took a cheating goalkeeper and inept officials to rob us of two points. -

Lost it in the debacle that was the January transfer window, we all knew it but we all thought there was a chance. Our inability to score goals was always going to bite us on the arse eventually. -

We can't kill teams off. Not enough firepower. Dolan was poor when he came on but he's not a centre forward, he should replace Brereton if any. -

Disgusting that, handball and if it wasn't handball it was a foul. That said, not one player was winning the ball in the air in the last 15 minutes. Coventry won everything. -

I'd have Dolan on instead of Brereton. Sorba for Hedges. Both players make room for others like Szmodics due constantly nagging at the oppo defence. -

Even when he's not playing well he makes space for the others. I don't understand why he's not in. Glad to see Wharton coming in and Morton out but unhappy to see Gallagher again. An absolute waste of space. -
If we had the quality of Newell and Speedie upfront I'd believe we could go up. Gallagher would struggle in League 2 and Brereton has gone backwards a few years. Which of our current players would get in the 91/92 team?

There's no need to be deliberately obtuse about it, you must know you're going to get people's backs up. You know the history of the club and the years of disappointment. Most fans are conditioned to have a glass half empty. I believe in the manager and even my glass is quarter empty. -

I said unless you're trolling, I didn't say you were. It's telling how it hit a nerve about trolling but not about your ability to think though. -

With a modicum of brainpower, you may understand why. Come on Chaddy it's not beyond you, unless you're enjoying a good troll in which case, as you were. -

I didn't expect us to be this high up but there will be no apologising for the inept chancers behind the scenes.
