  1. So frustrating when you consider Gallagher is one of our highest earners and that Mowbray gave him a new contract, enabled by Waggott. June 2024 we've got him till.
  2. I'm still in the "it's a problem with the players" camp, with the caveat that I do find Tomasson frustrating at times. We have some terrible players, the squad is thin and not just that, but unbalanced. I can't attribute that to Tomasson. I don't agree it's worse than with Mowbray but it's no better.
  3. I'd still want Venkys out if we won the league. I know some may find that nonsensical but one of the reasons I want out of this league so that we're a more desirable club. I actually wouldn't mind if we were in the Championship with responsible and careful owners.
  4. Makes you wonder how many people think we're just a bunch of racists, and that's why we don't accept Venkys. I'd hope anyone with an ounce of intelligence would be informed enough to know otherwise. I think over the thousands of damning posts on here you wouldn't find any racism, whereas on our neighbours forums I've seen some "interesting" comments about ethnic minorities and developing nations. Of course you always get a small number of idiots in a football crowd.
  5. Sorry, tough times at Booth towers 👍
  6. Well I watched the game and I thought they played well for the most part. Some of the attacking play was good but the failings of our attacking players are still obvious. I can't blame the manager for players not scoring or players putting their fellow players under pressure.
  7. Weird that, it was open season to call David Dunn fat not so long ago, usually with a following expletive. Dunn, a bloke who not without fault, but has been involved in some of the better times at the club and his goals against our rivals will be in memory for the rest of my days. I don't remember any such thoughts or words in his defence afterwards. If anything, I think I was being lenient. I find the situation very frustrating so forgive me for lashing out at the man sitting atop a pile of money, saying, and seemingly doing nothing. Find me another CEO of a football club who would quietly allow Brereton to leave the club for nothing, Rothwell for nothing and the rest. All whilst the club has little money for replacements. And if it's Venkys doing, then a man with more principals would find his position untenable and leave. He's yet another disgusting toad on the gravy train and I apologise to anyone that offends, but not to the man himself.
  8. What I'd say to his face would be a lot worse. I care as much about what it says about me, as he does about the club.
  9. Nothing to do with JDT, apart from Morton not going off which must be contractual. The players didn't play like they didn't want to be here, they just heard an imaginary final whistle and switched off. Before that Brereton should have made it 3. If Gallagher went any further backwards he'd reverse time. Morton needs to be sent back to Liverpool. Waggott needs to explain why we didn't sell BBD so we could replace the dross. It's a shame Dack seems to be back but the players around him are letting the side down.
  10. Wharton had just got a yellow card because he had to foul a player due to Morton dallying on the ball and losing it. I said earlier in the thread before the equalizer that Morton was a liability. It's not that he gives the ball away, it's where he gives the ball away. Why's he doddering along with the ball towards his own box when there's five players around him able to take it?
  11. And that fat prick Waggott allowed it to happen.
  12. Burnley pretty much played the other team they bought.
  13. Bonkers. Blame him all you like but he was covering for Mortons mistakes and switched off. I think we can safely say Morton has an appearance clause - or penalty for lack of appearing.
  14. I've said it before, some of these players just aren't good enough. In their heads they'd won the game and switched off. And it's been that mentality for years. Didn't help that Morton was playing for them, Gallagher is a passenger and Brereton has really let us down recently.
  15. Should have sold him. Completely nonsensical and a sign of how badly the club is ran.
  16. Strikers can't finish. Midfielders give ball away. Defenders go to sleep. In that order.
  17. Typical Rovers, thinking they'd won the match and having a nap. You could see it in the body language a moment before.
  18. Is it me or is Morton a liability? Losing the ball which causes chaos amongst the defence leading to Birmingham pressure.
  19. If you read between the lines it'll be the same as last Summers.
  20. By this point I'm certain that what Tomasson wants and what he gets are entirely different things.
  21. This is all unsurprising, Broughton said that we wouldn't be doing much business in January months ago. He's sticking to his plan.
  22. If we are skint they should be straight and not tell us we have a healthy transfer budget. And they shouldn't be losing decent money on the likes of Rothwell, Lenihan and Brereton.
  23. I remember Blake playing for Bolton and thinking I'm glad we don't have him. He was slowly jogging around the pitch not getting involved. The ball came across for him and he put no effort in to get to it. Then as his team mates all ran back into position he just strolled back. Then we signed him 🤦‍♂️
  24. Whartons a good player but he’s struggled after his injury. Some are a bit unfair about him, he was brilliant last season. Our defeats coincided with him being out.
