This massively depends on how important you think he is to the team.

It could still happen, but with him being the only (proper) senior striker at the club, they'll want someone else through the door first. I'll be surprised if he doesn't go purely based on his wages but perhaps the Wharton sale will mean we keep him.

I believe they were fine before they had two professional footballers too. He's been being pushed out of the door for a lot longer than this last week. Lad wasn't happy about it, wanted to stay here. But back then there wasn't the huge sums that there currently are. Sad really, heart wants to stay here but head can see it's too much of an opportunity to pass up. Especially with the state Rovers are in right now. I wish him all the best.

The above is complete made up rubbish folks. The other poster was right. He lives at home, he loves Rovers, and he wanted a crack at getting the club promoted. His family are Rovers fans and he was living the dream. They were trying to shove him out the door at the tail end of last season and he wasn’t happy about it. Unfair to blame the lad for any of this.
