  1. Just been reading on Twitter, a number of supporters are saying sell Armstrong, sell Brereton and build back. one problem with that, Mowbray. He hasn’t a clue about building a team even if he is allowed any funds to do it. Mowbray must go!
  2. If they run their core business in India the same way that they run Rovers, I can only conclude that it must be very easy to do business in India.
  3. So the latest rumour is Brereton to Leeds. No doubt many who post on here will be extremely happy but I for one will be extremely upset. There has always been a footballer there, but was never handled right from the word go. Shows what he can do when played in his correct position under a proper manager. Mowbray is utterly useless and needs to go, NOW.
  4. Just an observation. Why would Yates come to us? Sure we are a bigger club than Blackpool but at the moment we are a mess due to rank poor management both boardroom and football. At Blackpool he is working under a first class manager who uses him excellently. If he came here he is likely to be playing wing back.
  5. Mowbray does not like Chapman. Mowbray does not like Rothwell. He does however like Johnson and Bennett. I think I can feel a relegation coming on.
  6. Youngsters will get their chance. Defenders are coming. Arrogant, small minded stupid old fart. Mowbray go now. It doesn’t even matter what the result is.
  7. Not quite. Chelsea, Leeds, Cardiff and Millwall just in front of them.
  8. Problem here is Mowbray. He doesn’t know what he wants. Buys 2 big forwards and plays them out of position. Everyone and his dog knows we need strengthening in defence but no we rely on loans. Buys a winger, then refuses to play him. Brings in a second choice keeper simply because he is a mate who would have been out of work otherwise, and we didn’t need him anyway. Before any transfer activity, Mowbray needs to be replaced.
  9. Shite: just been called in for my COVID-19 vaccination at 18:10 on Friday. By 18:15 I will have a sore arm and we will be 2 down.
  10. You have just talked me into it. Off we go to the shed. see you later.
  11. Why am I not surprised? More worryingly, why am I not upset? This guy just cannot go on, it’s pitiful to watch.
  12. Good post and I agree, but IMO there are no dead rubbers as teams below us pick up momentum. I think we will be relying on 3 teams to have less points than us and it will be too close for comfort. Hoping it doesn’t come down to last match with big club because we will lose judging by their efforts and our efforts yesterday. MOWBRAY MUST GO
  13. Just watching Big club v Swansea hoping Big club get murdered but they are playing quite well. What struck me is that they are obviously motivated and the body language coming from the dug out couldn’t have been more different from what I saw earlier at Wycombe. Mowbray needs to go and now, or relegation is a certainty if not this year then next. Back to watching Big club who by now I am expecting to be at least competitive.
  14. He needs to go tonight along with his assistant. Johnson appointed as caretaker till end of season along with an assistant who will provide enthusiasm. Players told, give it everything or your on your way. Dare I suggest Bennett in this role. Then assess at end of season?
  15. New head of recruitment. Who is on the Middlesbrough staff doing that role? We needn’t look any further.
  16. I see Chapman is getting rave reviews at Shrewsbury. He is due back at the end of the season and could be a ready made replacement foe Elliott when he goes back to Liverpool. The lad just needed games. However, fear not because Tony will have him playing left defence mid field then drop him because he is not good enough.
  17. Think you are on the wrong horse here. Think Mowbray has just basically lost it.
  18. Don’t worry. The boy done good. It’s taken this long to get into the Tony way. If you believe that you will believe anything.
  19. It’s the complete lack of pace in midfield that is the worry, or at least to me it is. Just can’t see us getting the ball forward quickly enough to do any damage. Of course Brereton will get the blame but the lad needs service and I still think there is a footballer in him.
