  1. Ok, it's working now and only charged me once
  2. I did it again. Hopefully it's not gonna charge me twice.
  3. Anyone having trouble with Ifollow? I paid for it around 2pm. A euro went on hold on Revolut ,but it never took the rest of the money and now it's still saying I need to subscribe.
  4. F**k, hopefully we aren't looking at earlier than that... It has seemed to happen early in games
  5. It has nothing to do with his current contract here. Its' the contracts he would get AFTER promotion. Here or elsewhere. So therefore , promotion would be beneficial for him and there is no logical reason why he wouldn't want to achieve that.
  6. Yes, it's either 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Hope this helps.
  7. Looking at the players though,it surely has to be?
  8. Well you clearly have no idea how contracts work so if you think it's beneficial for a manager to plod in mid table as opposed to win promotion.
  9. YES!!!!!! This is what we needed to do
  10. Ok, something is different here. Is it 4-2-3-1? If it's 4-3-3 where will Dack play? At least Stoke won't be able to guess what we have planned
  11. I have literally no idea what you are on about. Do you? Sparks said he doesn't want to get promoted, I pointed out why it would be beneficial to him. What does does that have to do with him organising a defence? Ya know what, don't even bother answering, cos I'm pretty sure it won't make sense.
  12. Ha ,but can Akon organise a defence? Mowbray would get a pay rise here and he would get better contacts elsewhere for god knows how long. Look at Colye and even Mowbray himself. 1 promotion to the PL can go a long way on a CV.
  13. You doubt he is bothered about money? That's an interesting claim. He would be in the minority of people so. I don't think he would be financially secure for very long if he was sacked from here. A promotion to the PL would probably triple his salary? At least double it anyway. Then his next contact wherever that would be would be around the same again. It would be worth millions to him. I would reckon it could be worth up to 5 million to him over the rest of his career. Again, I'm not sure it's a "lack of work". I'd say he spends a lot of time working. It's more down to ability. Pretty straightforward really.
  14. A promotion to the PL on his CV would be worth millions to him in future contracts. Of course he would want to be promoted. Does he have the ability to do so is where the question marks are
  15. But that he doesn't want us to win games? Doesn't make sense. Lack of ability is one thing, actively trying to sabotage us a very different situation.
  16. Ya, there is a line with the criticism and sometimes people go a wee bit too far down that road.
  17. Yep, echo chambers are created in situations like that.
  18. To be fair, neither would they, if we didn't gift them one
  19. Mmm. You would probably have to ya, going off his record. The end of his tenure over Ireland was very grim though and he got very cranky. He was constantly fighting and being narky with reporters. The football was dire as well, but you could make the case he was playing the hand he was dealt and over his tenure, he did deliver a major tournament and we look a long way from that happening again anytime soon. If he came back with a pep in his step, definitely, plus if he brought Keano 😉🙂 That would be ideal. He would certainly stamp out any holiday camp mentality. A tough task master is Martin.
  20. Maybe we could do with 6 at the back 😂 Ah no,I think Johnson and Trybull would know they need to push up where possible. They are 2 experienced defensive midfielders at this level. My brief to them would be get the ball forward quickly and directly (not necessarily long, but direct) I suppose the problem is we do the opposite of that recently, tipping and tapping pointlessly around in our own half. If you could be guaranteed Rothwell would have one of his 1 in 6 good games, well then he would start, but that's not possible. Maybe Davenport, but it would be throwing him in a bit at the deep end with an 18 year old centre half behind him (and Lenihan lol). Travis would be a shoe in,but he looked way off the pace the last game. I would go with experience. This Stoke team aren't the most dynamic, so I think we would get away with Johnson and Trybull.
  21. Thanks man. No, all clear on the covid, touch wood. Hopefully we don't have too long a road ahead of us on that front.
  22. Same goes for being a know it all 🙄 😜
