  1. I saw that and he kicked something, but I couldn't make out who he was talking to
  2. So Brentford went through today. Semis of the league cup too. Yet they are getting less injuries than us. There is a unprofessional element at Rovers I think. The pitch today another example.
  3. I can only assume now that Mowbray, as a centre half himself, works off the basis that defenders should know how to defend and therefore does no work with them. It's the only explanation I can think of for the recurring defensive shit shows. No team could go anywhere conceding soft goals like us, at any level.
  4. That would be fantastic, but there is no guarantee Downing would be a success. We have had a long list of managers with little experience since Kendall who didn't work out. I would be happy with someone until the end of the season and then if that didn't work, have due process done for who to appoint during the summer. I would go Roy Keane. I think he could give us the short term boost we need and it certainly wouldn't be boring. As an appointment I think it would work for both parties. I agree we have the players, they just aren't performing. I think that's because they are as confused as we are by Mowbray. God we just need to go back to basics and keep things simple.
  5. Bit before my time 😉 but what would Downing taking over from Mowbray have in common with him and his situation?
  6. Pointless..he won't be sacked. We wouldn't spend the money sacking him for one
  7. No thanks. Bit too much of a continuation of the same or just a lack of experience.
  8. God the two of ye and your "we were right all along with our insight" is a pretty sad take on things at this point. Schoolyard really. A lot of people, myself included, are very concerned about who they might replace him with. So it's not as simple as we sack him and get Bilic in.
  9. It was the worst performance of the season, against a League 1 team who hadn't played in about a month. I don't care what team we have out, that was dreadful. I can completely understand why it was the straw that broke the camel's back for people. Spot on with the rest really. Pears like, what is that about? He looks worse than Steele. At least he's not our number 1 I suppose.
  10. That's how we play. Huge lack of fight in this team. Nobody seems to really care.
  11. Ok,let's not exaggerate though. His time is up,but he did well to a point. No need for people to start comparing him to Kean or anything like that.
  12. Ya, I think that was the worst performance of the season. Doncaster hadn't played in weeks, but we looked like we never played together before. Does anyone with any insight into the club know if he is under any pressure? This has a dead season written all over it if we don't act soon
  13. What did we have, 2 shots? Both of them in the space of 5 seconds. Dominated? my ass
  14. Ya, it is. Its starting to look to me like he has lost the players. Just too many bad performances one after another. We look lost and his body language today was just unacceptable from a manager. The problem is I don't want to get too invested, because how we hire and fire managers under Venkys makes no rational sense.
  15. Ok, that's it for me. A completely disgraceful display. No drive, confused and disjointed. Not happening ,but I am now in the Mowbray out camp.
  16. Mowbrays body language on the bench a disgrace
  17. Breretons constant falling over annoys me. He doesn't even try to stay on his feet. It's actually pathetic
  18. I like his skills ,but he needs more end product. Most if not all his goals and assists came in 2 games where we hammered the opposition
