Bristol City v Rovers. Wed 9th Dec. 7.45pm

Conspired to lose it? It was a breaking ball in the box. Agree about who played well and poorly. Douglas has been very disappointing, particularly with his deliveries. I still prefer him to Bell though. -

How is he nearer the top? Because when he took over we were about to be relegated No, I just realise football, particularly in the Championship is about small margins. We came out the wrong side last night, but no need for over reaction. You never answered my question, you said 70th min we should have taken he point, so what would you have done? -

He is nearer the top. Like ,that's a fact. Narrow game, as many in the Championship are. Armstrongs borderline psychotic self indulgence was something I have never seen before. Surely the most shots by a striker in a game without scoring? As for taking the point, how would you have suggested we go about that? Drop back? I am sure you would have had an issue with that approach, so what would you suggest might have worked? We lost to a goal scored from a breaking ball in the box. It happens. -

Even a step over would be a start. -

His touch when through one on one last night was dreadful. With the service the team are giving him, he should have 20 goals. How many this season are of his own doing? Last year, so many. This season he is scoring the tap ins, but the one on ones and shots from range have dried up a bit. Testament to the rest of the team. -

The big lad they brought on started causing us problems immediately. I wasn't surprised when he scored. Wharton or Lenihan in there and it would have been preferable. Williams was ok, but not ideal him playing after being out for a few weeks. Freak injury and questionable red card killed us. Just gotta put it to the side and move on. We still could and probably should have won the game. -

Maybe someone would score a hat trick if Armstrong passed it. I rememember 2 clear instances where a pass would have put players in a position to shoot. Once for Gallagher and once for Elliott. It was like playing co-op pro Evo or FIFA with someone who won't pass the ball in those positions (annoying). I highlighted this before, but he exceeded himself last night. Needed to put a hand up after the game. I'm sure it was mentioned. -

He has his moments alright. Many players with those traits play on the edge. -

Not as simple as that, but I would have preferred Lenihan played as well. Maybe blame the ref. -

It's not simple anymore. We have players like Johnson, Ayala and Lenihan who I would describe as having those characteristics. Travis to come back in too. The reason we lost last night was Armstrongs complete over indulgence. I hope he put his hand up after the game or the rest of the team had a chat with him. It's not good enough. I have never seen anything like it. You wouldn't see Ronaldo do it. It was a tight away game, we narrowly lost. Not a time for over reaction. -

It was a dive on Saturday and to say he is responsible for us dropping 3 points tonight might just be the funniest back handed compliment I have ever heard 🤣 -

Missed Lenihan I thought. Wins a lot of scrappy headers. Armstrong killed us I thought -

Very tight margins though. Very little in tonight's game. Harsh to not draw, but that's how it goes sometimes -

I think there is plenty to be positive about. Should have at least drawn that. Williams a bit rusty on the turn for their goal. Armstrong is just outrageous really, I hope he knows it's unacceptable to shoot that may times and miss when passing would have been a better option -

Used to be the opposite ,bet the top teams and struggled against the lower half teams. I think it's clear to see we are actually a much better team now -

Armstrong. How many chances does one man need? Doesn't matter where he gets it cos he's going to hit it. It's very self indulgent at this point and I know he is top scorer -
TRANSFER THREAD - JANUARY 2021

It's my point I would care if we lost Nyambe. Don't and didn't care about Mahoney. Nyambe strikes me as a lad who knows he would be best developed by staying here. Mahoney lost the run of himself, career wise staying and starting with us would have been best. I don't buy the money thing,he's only a young lad. Plenty of career in front of him. You can't be thinking at that age you might get injured. Nyambe starts the majority of our games right back. He has his limitations ,so I get why JRC gets the nod at times. I don't see any reason why Mowbray wouldn't care if we lost him on a free. At a minimum we would be missing out on a fee he could re invest. I would imagine the payers are looking to see if at how well we are doing this season. Tis a big one. -

Mahoney has done nothing of note since leaving here. I see nothing in him as a player. -

Raya was sold, we (eventually) got a better replacement. Mahoney is rubbish. We have far better now. No issue with either leaving. Nyambe would be a very different thing. Ah I reckon it will get sorted. -

I'd say Trybull will start instead of Johnson and Johnson will play against Norwich -

It's ridiculous we are still waiting for a decision on Lenihan on the day of the game. -
What has happened NXT? I don't watch any shows in their entirety. Just highlights really. In Impact, I think Moose has potential to be a star. Eric Young is good and that new bodyguard he had is a scary looking individual. Their team would actually fit in well in NXT. Do you watch Cultaholic on YouTube? Watched a good one last night. One of the lads applied to be a writer for WWE. Maybe I enjoyed it too much cos I'm a HR/Recruitment nerd 🤣 It was interesting to see the process

I cannot take Kenny Omega seriously, or is he meant to be a comedy heel? Albeit not a funny one imo? I just think he is a goofball nerd. In ringwise, boring. I've watched a good few of his matches, all the same. Repeating the same moves. His match with Jericho was decent, but that's Jericho. Maybe I'm missing something. Cool that he was on Impact all the same
