It's a combination of the mundane midfield play and missing of chances that gets me. He has missed some sitters in important games. His contribution with regards goals and assists is putrid, granted not his main job, but as a center midfielder I think unless you are Makalele, you need to contribute more. Trybull looks like an vast upgrade there and I don't think he has fully gotten going yet.

So far they have looked good together,so I would have no problem if they were first choice partnership. Although I think Ayala and Williams could compliment each other well. Keeping them 2 fit is another issue

Has Johnson ever played centre half? I don't think he needs to be captain to lead the team. In fact his shit housing probably doesn't fit well with being captain. Leave him too it.
