  1. That has Big Sam written all over it. Be shocked if Hughes got it.
  2. Hopefully we score the first 3 early so we can all relax. Cos that's how many we need to score for me to relax 🤣
  3. 2020 it must be then. Or maybe it was just fake news on the internet
  4. Decent results for us tonight. Need to capitalise now Just read an interesting statto there, Chelsea haven't bet a top 10 team PL team in 2021. I think a win tomorrow and it's set up for a "breakout" win for us against Stoke.
  5. More about increasing motivation, raising standards and trying to win more games rather than "cracking heads'. Anyway we are only tossing the ball round, there won't be a managerial change this season.
  6. The last two years. Still undecided this year about home or away
  7. Ya, I wonder though how many sales they miss out on? I suppose it's like any stock, no business sense in having too much I think they are missing a trick not selling retro kits though
  8. Lol, going off some of the social media I think that's pretty much what goes on I think I may be getting over exposed to Roy Keane with him being on Sky so much, but did you see his absolute disgust at the amount of hugging and jersey swapping that was going on at the end of the Manchester Derby? Hilarious. He found it incompatible with his favourite phrase "trying to win football matches"
  9. Just checked Brighton's last game. Steele was on the bench ahead of Walton. So much confusing about Brighton's goalkeeper situation.
  10. I think him and Tosin complimented each other. Tosin is a better ball player than Williams. A top athlete too. Walton at his worst was a disaster
  11. I have gone on to buy jerseys 3 times in 2 years and my size hasn't been available. I'm a large like, not like 7XXL. You would think that they could be made to order.
  12. Ya , exactly. It would either be spectacular a la his job at Sunderland, or he wouldn't last long due to falling out with everyone and a player mutiny. I would suspect the former to be honest. He would fall out with everyone eventually though lol He said a few times recently he is waiting for the right offer. I am sure he has been offered things, we might be surprised what he has turned down to be honest. I reckon he would see Rovers as worth a go. We would certainly be on Sky a lot more anyway! As @DE.says though, Venkys and Keane could be like oil and water 😆 but I do think he is learning to tone it down a bit
  13. Pity it wasn't Kaminski with them. Walton made me very nervous
  14. Because we are clearly playing better this season than previous years. Plus we have Dack and Travis to come back. I'm not painting "the fanbase" as anything, so please stop with this strawman nonsense hyperbole. It's a select few, but we are all adults here, entitled to our own viewpoints.
  15. Look if we were 6th and 6 points clear of 7th, nobody would be saying everything was cut and dried. 6 points is absolutely nothing at this stage of the season. Some have nailed their views to the mast so much about the team and Mowbray, that I do wonder what they would say if/when we get in the play off places. I imagine something like "we should have been in earlier" "It doesn't matter unless we are there at the end". The goalposts will always move and "progression" will be downplayed accordingly. Don't @ me 😆
  16. We haven't had our full squad, so just imagine how good we will be when Dack and Travis come back it. Or do you not think they will make a difference? We arent far off it. 2 results go our way earlier on and we are in the play off places. It's very small margins. Like ,hard to believe, but the other teams want to win too. So many and there is very little between them. That's what they say publicly, but I'm sure these results hurt them. It's individual mistakes that are killing us. We are functioning pretty well by and large. The likes of Johnson and Holtby know they need to probably do it this season. Are we lacking leaders? Maybe, but I think this group, manager included deserve the season to give it a go. If we don't make the play offs then, that's it. I honestly can't see Mowbray being here next season if we don't make the play offs this year.
  17. Desperate, strawman argument lol. That comment was smelly hyperbole. See I can put random words together too. You would think we were in the bottom 3 the people are going on, not a couple of results going our way from being in the play offs. My point is you can't say he has the best squad, so much time etc and then also say sack him during the season. This is the season we have the best squad. He has earned the right to see it out with them. For god sake, we haven't even had our full squad this season. Simple question for you-who would you go for and why?
  18. Jesus I dunno. Wasn't pretty what I watched him serve up,but I suppose he would argue he played what he could with the players he had. He was just very, very cranky. Maybe a break would have done him good a la Mourinho post United. I'm sure someone at this level will take a chance on him.
  19. Many examples of teams who got in near the end of the season
  20. No,managers get sacked when they are doing badly, we aren't doing badly.
  21. There are many examples of teams who got in near the end of the season. The negativity is exhausting. You would think we are in the releagtion zone.
  22. It really doesn't matter as long as we end up in the play off places. Were Swansea even in the top six last season before the last day? Villa the year before? Judge the team at the end of the season.
  23. Well Buckely isn't I don't think, but the only he will get better is by playing. Would have been better on loan though I reckon.
  24. Ya, probably. Make Buckley starting less likely but I still think he will start Davenport. He deserves it too I think.
