It seems to have gotten worse the more he has scored. If I was top scorer I would have the table as the screensaver on my phone 🤣
-
Is it pressure or just he wants to be top scorer? Like the pressure should be on the entire team to score. We should have way more goals, only for Armstrong's choice making, which I know is kind of crazy. I see a little bit I think that he trusts Elliot to pass it to, but not Gallagher. I can't really blame him for that. Gallagher tries god love him,but it's not his position and he brings little to the team from there. That's the reality. Fair play to him for keeping at it and getting the odd goal.

Has a manager moving up ever worked?

TRANSFER THREAD - JANUARY 2021

Clearly nobody will sign an injured player -
Ah we weren't settling for a point. Lenhan and Ayala were up for the winning goal. If you are settling for a point you would leave at least 1 of your centre halves back. Plus we played with more urgency in extra time than we did in normal time. I think Downing got things going, along with Holtby and Trybull.

It's not "perception", it's glaringly obvious he was ridiculously greedy in certain games. He can still score goals, whilst also looking to get his teammates in, as was shown last night

Gallagher, Buckley, Johnson and Douglas should be dropped at this point. We have other options. -

These guys are going to be very physical. Just look at their squad. Missing a few,but that gobshite Powell will probably start. Lenihan and Ayala are going to have a scrap on their hands with either Vokes or Fletcher. They are missing a few at the same time. Should be an interesting game -
The Wolves team Douglas excelled on was arguably the best Championship team of the last 20 years. They had Doherty on the other side, not the quickest either. They played the two of them very high and they were really just there to get the ball into the box. I suppose they weren't under the cosh too much either.

He was better when he moved further out to the left imo. Involved in two key moments, but I just can't help but feel he's a little bit too much for himself. Even his celebrations are self indulgent, whereas others look for team mates. Developing a good relationship with Eliott. Maybe he wants to go to Liverpool with him As long as he scores though, he will shut me up! Maybe he misses BB too. AA and BB. I would like to see Trybull, Travis and Dack behind those 3.

Not the most athletic midfield though, but I would probably agree

Fair play to Armstrong ,an assist and a goal whatever way ya look at it. For the first Eliott still had a lot to do and the. Winning goal was comical in how it literally just hit Armstrong. My reaction to the last goal was I just laughed. I've never witnessed a less deserved victory. If we lost that 4-1, we could have had no complaints Well, at least things can only get better

His attitude looked mile's ahead of some when he came on too. He actuay looked like he gave a s**t. Saw him giving a few dressing downs to players around him around him and he went mad when nobody got the football that went out for our throw. I actually couldn't believe that.

Well whatever he is on, he should be used more. That's first against Millwall and now last night where he has been heavily involved in getting us out of jail.
