  1. Typical really It's always against the run of play, ain't it? Dog shit.
  2. You're not sure how bad Stoke were to watch? Did you not see the game? We were never than negative under Hughes and even under Allardyce. Being "black eye" rovers is a very different thing than getting every player behind the ball for 83 minutes of a game. We were worse against Rotherham? No we werent. We played fair more football, we just didn't score til late on. If you're talking pure entertaining footballwise , Stoke are putrid. Now the results v entertainment is a completely different debate
  3. Who is it on commentary? I missed the start. Ref shite too ,but we don't help ourselves by over playing it constantly
  4. Usual tipping tappy nonsense. That corner a prime example. Get the f**cking ball in.
  5. Ya, but what Stoke do is way more grim than we played under Hughes or Allardyce. What would their fans be singing if they were watching them? Look,as I said , if we played it , it would be all about the result and they are currently the ones outside the play offs on goal difference. We aren't too far behind though
  6. He's certainly capitalising on having no crowd. If we got into the play offs playing like that, I wouldn't care, but I'm sure some fans would.
  7. No,indeed it didn't ,but I bet you over a season having that attitude will lead to battling to more points.
  8. My god. Sounds familiar. Interesting the reaction of the Boro players to their antics ,far more fiery than us. As if they really give a damn. Also representitive of their manager. The opposite of us in the game against Rotehrham when we were losing and the ball went out for a throw and nobody would get it.
  9. McIntyre looks like an absolute beast. Like compare him to Omega. That's even allowing for the fact McIntyre wears a skirt
  10. I'm not posh enough to have a subscription to the FT 😂😔
  11. In a way I think Stoke are dead right. This is commonly done for GAA and it's intentional. Coming to your ground should be difficult for the opposition. I would be interested to see how bad it was. Not very I would wager.
  12. I'm not getting in a debate about season tickets, but it's a fact nobody was going to buy many more than were bought anyway. It's a crazy situation to deal with and I don't know any club that's set as the "model" as to the best way this should have been done. Personally I just pay for the Ifollow pass as the games come and I don't understand why anyone would do anything else at this point.
  13. Ya, true. I watched a show on Youtube where a guy reviews TNA from the start. Over the first 2 ever episodes , Styles won the both tag team titles (with Jerry Lynn) and the X-division title. Kind of genius pushing him from the get go like that. I think AEW are missing a trick not doing that, although I suppose Darby Allin is getting a light version of that to a degree.
  14. Ya,it's brutal though. He lost the ball once or twice and now he seems to have stopped doing it. It was actually one of the best parts of his game.
  15. Ya, I think people are just desperate for an alternative and I would certainly agree having AEW more positive than negative. TNA at it's peak was unreal. I got into it just before Cristian Cage, man they were some good years. They made some stars there. AJ Styles the prime example. What did you make of Moxley as Champion?
  16. Has anyone else noticed that Dolan has stopped doing step overs? When he came on the scene first he could do 4 or 5 in front of a defender. I wonder what that's about
  17. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11938/12169590/jose-mourinho-tottenham-boss-urges-authorities-to-look-into-stoke-away-dressing-room-ahead-of-carabao-cup-clash This is interesting. I didn't hear any comments from Rovers on it
  18. You're speculating that he is going to leave, plus the rest. I don't see how anything to do with attendance at the games currently is on him. It's an absolutely unprecedent time and it's gonna be interesting to see how many clubs get on with getting fans back.
  19. You think? Phew I'm not sure about that man. Maybe I'm wrong.
  20. A lot of speculation there. Pretty much all of it actually!
  21. I suppose really the WWE are making money anyway, so ultimately thy don't care what they put out. It's an awful product now really. It's good AEW and Impact are around, but both have their issues. I was subscribing to AEW, but it just wasn't doing enough for me. It is kind of WCW light, which I am cool with, but there is just a lot of inside wrestling comments/gags going on along with an over reliance on big names, who are put in strange roles. I mean Tazz, Cage and that stupid , pointless belt. Why bring Cage and also say Lance Archer in, only to ultimately make them look weak by jobbing them out when it mattered? Also, I thought, from following online mostly, that Moxleys reign was pants. Is he just boring? As for Omega, well at least it's a bit more interesting, but what a dweeb that guy is. Maybe you might believe he is tough if you're a Japanese teenage girl. Don Callis is a decent mouthpiece to be fair. Ah they have time and maybe down the road a Cody v Omega feud might be money. There is a fair bit of nepotism going on there alright. I mean a Brandi Rhodes action figure. Did the actual woman's champ even get one? She's easy on the eye, but she has been elevated way beyond her ability on the show in many ways. I'm sure people in the company see that. Not against the Bucks being champions. Be more interesting if thy split up though. The TNT title is meh. They need a cruiserweight belt. Hopefully they would actually make that look like it didn't cost €35 to make!
  22. Lets say we finish where we are now and Mowbray does the right thing and walks. Where would he end up? Being honest, I would have to say it would be one of the teams relegated from the Championship to get them back up. Like he would get a job, so it wouldn't be that bad financially walking away. I think fans here would hold him in higher esteem if he did that. I would hate to see him get sacked with us in a relegation battle and if we don't get play offs this season, that could very easily happen. For me it's play off or nothing. I hope he thinks the same.
  23. Harsh on Trybull and Downing. Trybull is far better than Evans and that's what we needed. I think he will go on and improve even more. I would probably go with him , Travis and Rothwell if all fit. Same with Downing, I mean he showed enough first spell and even this spell that he's worth having around. A bit high on Doan, but agree with the rest
  24. Hughes built a great time on very little money though?
