  1. So giving Butterworth a chance would be "crazy"? Mmm, ok and Mowbray gets slated for not giving youth a chance. Ya,you're bang on, he's playing rubbish. I can't disagree with that at all. I thought Brereton was better last night, but ya Rothwell was rubbish too, completely agree. You often spout out plenty of unsubstantiated conspiracy theories about the workings of the club yourself. We have been paying abysmal since the Bristol city game. The game where Armstrong had the single most selfish display I have ever seen from a player, with absolutely nothing to show for it. Maybes it's coincidince. Neither of us know anyway. Second top scorer, second top scorer blah blah. You don't have to keep saying that, we all know. We all know all th goals he scored this season. We all know he's stinking the place up the last 6 games, but ya, we haven't many other options.
  2. Either way it's on Mowbray. Pretty easy to understand? You surely realise certain systems suit certain players?
  3. When Leeds signed White on loan, he was unknown to many. I clearly didn't mean sign him now. Keep up.
  4. The Ayala situation is damning for Mowbray. I like Ayala and I think he is a good defender, however the way we play doesn't suit him. So why did Mowbray sign him? Same as Gallagher. If you want a centre half to play how we do, you need someone like Ben White who was on loan at Leeds last season. It's not rocket science.
  5. Yes, it is exciting, but that excitement could dissapate very quickly. The facts show they are more likely to appoint someone worse. That's the unfortunate reality. Talk of like Robins and Ainsworth. No thanks. A stronger character like Pearson? Couldn't see that working out. We are a bad appointment away from getting sucked into relegation. I'm terrified about who they would appoint to be honest.
  6. We aren't "every club" I don't know about the people in those groups. They haven't made a stand out appointment during their time here though? Yes, they have put money in. Two seperate things. I don't blame people being concerned about who we might get. We could end up in relegation very quickly if it's the wrong appointment, again.
  7. I wouldn't jump to assumptions about players reactions leaving the field. He could have been doing that because he knew he had a bad game himself.
  8. Who are we gonna get is a fair question though
  9. A scapegoat for Mowbray? What are you on about?
  10. I don't if he was injured, but he has been shite for the last 2-3 games
  11. Buckley right back is more nonsense, just like Gallagher. If Buckely isn't good enough to come on center mid, he shouldnt be coming on.
  12. I said pretty much the exact same as this the other day. Search my posts and you will find it.
  13. Low down their list of priorities. Lack of knowledge of football nuance. The usual stuff, unfortunately. We could end up with a serious turkey next manager.
  14. It would be good to have someone who can actually beat a man up there or even in midfield. We don't do that. I can I it assume it's fear instilled by the manager about losing the ball. Well Rothwell does it the odd time. He's the exception. Armstrong, even with his speed, can't beat a man recently. Not sure what that's about.
  15. 😂 Love Peep show. I don't think Mowbrays thoughts would be as funny as Mark and Jeremy
  16. I think you might be into something there.
  17. Maybe Butterworth? Since and including the Bristol game Armstrong has been poor ,at best. He doesn't hold the ball up. He doesn't beat a man. He is missing chances.
  18. I'd say there is a split too, but not in the way you say. I think something changed during the Bristol city game. Armstrong went on a one man mission to not pass the ball, ever since then we have seemed slower to pass the ball forward. I think some of the players fell out with him and lost some faith that night. Our attacking play has been so lame since. I think some of the players think its stupid Gallagher plays right wing. They see Holtby starting and coming on ahead of Davenport and they probably think that's unfair. You could see last night they weren't a team. We don't know know, but something has changed over the last few games. Not his biggest fan either, but i think its a bit of a leap to shoehorn Bennett in for criticism at this point!
  19. I notice the social media from the players. They have usually posted their generic messages the same night as the game. I wonder what that's about?
  20. Where? I doubt anyone is paying what we will be looking for.
  21. We need to move on. He's not even making the bench at wba and he's not the great saviour. Surely other options.
  22. Is Holtby better than Evans? I'm starting to have my doubts.. At least Evans wins more ball. Him, Rothwell and Armstrong were so disappointing last night. Is Armstrong still undroppable? Some strange reactions from posters to me for suggesting about 5 games ago that something had changed with him. I think it's difficult not to admit there is an issue now.
  23. Ya, obviously, that's what I said. I don't think anyone can say his appointment was exciting and a signal of intent? He did pretty well considering though. Better than the majority of their appointments.
  24. Ah, he was decent the last day. The chip to Brereton? The few passes where he turned it around the corner, decent ball to Armstrong (who missed again) Dack was non existent last night though. No, the contract wasn't premature. We know what he can do.
  25. Well if he hasn't lost it(and last night was the closest to it I have seen) then he isn't far off losing it.
