  1. Would Gallagher or Brereton even look better with this team behind them?
  2. Ya,I would prefer Holtby there. I semi take the comment back, but in fairness,on occasion Evan's can play well
  3. Evan's can do certain things well, but I wouldn't be against Holtby coming in either. That call aside this is the starting 11. Edit Williams v Tosin also worthy of debate
  4. I'd say Omegas role is up to himself. He comes across as a humble guy. I think he is just trying to build others up a bit. His time will come and as someone who only knew a bit about him beforehand, I respect the fact he isnt trying to hog the limelight
  5. I love NWA power, my favourite too. I'm going watching the episode later. What happened??
  6. I think that is arguably our best team. I actually dont care about the result insofar as this needs to be our team again next week. Lenihan captain too. Great stuff. Gonna go 3-1 us
  7. According to this they spent approx €25 million last summer? So Mowbray hasn't spent more. Don't bother bringing outgoing into it now, because that wasn't what you said.
  8. He didn't say that though, did he? In fact I would say your comments and his are pretty similar.
  9. Unfortunately I think the players are feeling the same
  10. Do you not regularly hold Brentford up as an example of shining beacon in the Championship? How good their recruitment and managerial choices are, the style of football they play? I am pretty sure that you do.
  11. Mowbray has made a mess of defensive recruitment time and time again. It's just another example. If Mowbray is still around I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with another loan. Liverpool are letting Caoimhín Kelleher leave on loan. Hes only a young lad, but very highly rated. They were saying on the radio last night he is going to Preston. I hope we sign a keeper in January.
  12. Whether it was ages ago or not, the point stands. No, he isn't playing amazingly, but there is an over reaction around how badly he is playing. I suppose with keepers any mistake really stands out. He has made some good saves too.
  13. I didn't say he was a scapegoat, I said he is at risk of becoming one. You don't need to attack someones character to scapegoat them. He isn't solely responsible for 4 goals in 6 games. Saying that is silly and absolves other culpable parties of blame. I have seen him do plenty of good things whilst here too, particularly catching crosses. One or 2 mistakes aside.
  14. You are wrong there. A goalkeeper can still play well in a team conceding goals. Pickford moved to Everton for 30 million after being relegated with Sunderland.
  15. I think Beckys performances are very inconsistent. For every good match she has, she has a few stinkers. They seem to be going all in on her, but shes not a female Austin or Rock.
  16. Ah right, missed that. I think there is always talk of them being taken over though
  17. Those odds don't add up to me. How is Mowbray almost the same odds as Bowyer? Well maybe they realize that Venkys won't sack him, because Bowyer is having an amazing season I would say. Allowing for the fact they are on a bad run. I think their fans to a man or woman would have taken where they are now. On a semi related side note, I find Jones odds surprising too. I don't get why a League 1 club would sack a manager who has a team in with a fighting chance of survival. I mean what more would Luton expect this season? I would say Cook is on very thin ice. I wonder who they would go for. Please nobody say they would take Cook here.
  18. People are focusing too much criticism on Walton. Lets not forget that since Cunningham got injured Bell and Williams have been left back, both of who I really thought I would never see there again after last season. Lenihan got injured again and Bennett whilst doing his best, is not a natural right back. I would really hope Walton doesn't become a fans scapegoat now as our fans seems to do with regularity. He comes across as a good guy in his interviews who wants to do his best for the club. He is low in confidence it seems, but it hasn't been all bad with him.
  19. Ideally I would prefer neither of them
  20. Again, we are discussing between him or Ainsworth. This is the second time I have had to clarify this!
