See Platt has rejoined Barrow in the national league. A bit worrying that's the best team he drew interest from.
-
The thing is with Chapman, he has the ability. That's not in doubt. Whilst the jury is out on say Brereton, I have seen enough of Chapman to know that if he did knuckle down and get himself fit as a greyhound, he could be very, very effective.
-
Ya, fair play to him, but that doesn't tell the full story of his performance or application. I would respect @Parsonblue opinion as he comes accross as someone who doesn't over react or heedlessly criticise players and his post above echoes what I have read from others on Twitter. I would bet Chapman is sulking a bit that he isn't straight in with the first team squad.

What about those who watch the under 23s and say the same thing?
-
Chapman strikes me as a laid back messer. If he didn't play football I could picture him with a skateboard
-
Reality check how?

If it is, it's a stupid rule. I don't think politely telling a ball boy to stop acting like a little shit, should warrant a card of any colour. I don't think telling him it in a non-polite way should either. The ref should have punished the ballboy for time wasting initially.

Some Wilkinson guy. I don't know who he is. It's pretty sad. Feel a bit sorry for him doing something like that for likes and only getting one
-
We aren't playing a system with nobody down the middle. Gallagher, Graham and Armstrong have all played down the middle. We did not play 1 game with nobody down the middle! We just haven't taken our chances.
-
Oh give over. How is telling a ball boy to stop acting like a little shit, in a polite way "breaching the rules"? I think Mowbray is open to criticism on many topics, but it seems some fans just use everything and anything as a stick to beat him with. It dilutes the real issues in my opinion.

Sunderland til I die. It is brilliant -
Just looked at the tweet. What kind of a sad act copies and pastes posts from here and puts them on Twitter? He only has one like as well ? He copy/pasted/quoted 2 posts from here, so not sure which one he is referring too. I don't think mine was racist to be honest. If it was, it would have been an issue here.

I wouldn't say that is the case. More that we have made chances, just that we didn't take them. -

Feck sake it's ridiculous Mowbray go sent off for lecturing a ball boy. The little scrote was time wasting and needed a good kick up the arse. Jesus can a manager not actually tell a ball boy to do his job properly in a respectful manner now? Bonkers. -
Ya, that's what I call it ?
-
They have, but replace splash with squander in most cases.

Same as. I worked a lot with an office in Hydrabad. Those guys do not like admitting they are wrong.

Tactics!

Ah I don't know. Mowbray has praised what he brings to the table many times. I think his fragile body worries Mowbray more than his ability and that is what has held him back. I mean he does give youth a chance, contrary to the false narrative that , thankfully, now seems to have died off. I like Chapman and would love to see him get a run out, but the reality is even if it was just pre-season he missed, that immediately puts him at a disadvantage and behind others in the pecking order. Especially for someone who is just so injury prone. There is an enormous difference between under 23s and senior, particularly in the physicality involved.
-
They will never call that in. They would be disgraced and all their misdeeds here would be publicised. Culturally Indians would be very bothered by having that scrutiny brought on them. "Luckily" for us.
-
Realistically who is or should Chapman be ahead of? The only one I can think of is Armstrong and some people would definitely disagree with me on that. Chapman should not be ahead of Downing or Rothwell. You could make the case ahead of Gallagher at times, but then I read the other day that Gallagher has won the 3rd most headers in the league this season.
-
Really ,really awful stuff. Amazing that this can happen. I read the other day that Alexis Sanchez has "earned" £41 million whilst at Man U. Not right.

We scored plenty last season with none

I am pretty sure he hasn't been fit all season. From my recollection he has been injured twice Here is one article saying he missed pre-season because of injury and I have seem to remember he was out of all squads again a couple of weeks after that , but maybe it wasn't explicitly said that he was injured. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/latest-harry-chapman-return-blackburn-16670031
