  1. We should be winning it and hopefully we get at least 9 points in the next 4 games, but we won't be in relegation if we don't. Boro won't get more points than us and we are 7 points clear of Stoke.
  2. Read the Barnsley piece https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11688/11865478/championship-fans-rate-their-clubs-2019-20-season-so-far No wins in 15 games. If we don't win this, Mowbray has to go. it will just show that we have nothing in us as a team
  3. Lads, it is known to be one of the most competitive leagues in world football. Leeds or WBA could lose to the bottom club next week and nobody would be surprised. We are doing badly and there are big question marks over the manager, ye don't need to downplay the competitiveness of the league.
  4. No easy games in the Championship and very dangerous to think that there are
  5. Brereton had a decent pre-season but when it came to the first game of the season Mowbray didn't start him. More bollixing around
  6. For sure, but isn't that a sad state of affairs
  7. I genuinely believe that would be a good fit now. He can do anything that Mowbray can do and more. He will rock in at Reading or somewhere like that and watch them get in the mix for the play-offs
  8. Annoying, but very, very unsurprising. How many games before he eds up somewhere mad like full back? I would give it 3.
  9. How could we have kept him for his goals and set-pieces alone without having him start? It's not American football where we can just bring him on to take kicks. As for the other defenders not scoring, I'm pretty sure Williams is our top scorer.
  10. Ya, absolutely no way Mowbray should be called anything insulting to his character, he isn't Kean or anywhere near that. He's a decent man, who is stubborn and stuck in his ways and its going to cost him his career at this level eventually. He might get one more job after here, but he ain't gonna change. Ps https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/politics/quicktest/18028561.three-rovers-defenders-now-walking-suspension-tightrope/ "Defenders are coming"
  11. Saw that coming Get him in!
  12. Since we bet Reading in late September; the Luton, QPR and Birmingham performances were especially putrid. The Huddersfield, Forest, Preston, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds performances were better, if even due to showing more heart and effort. Although when I say better I mean relevant to the aforementioned shit. Still nowhere near good enough.
  13. Well if we were on a great run up to now, it's a cert we would lose this. With us playing badly, we will probably draw. The joys of being a Rovers fan.
  14. The performances have been better recently, thats for sure, but that is helped by the fact we were so abysmal in the games before that. We are 1 or 2 poor results from being in the relegation zone. We look a poor team, with players unsure of their roles. Tony is lucky that he is still here.
  15. How is Armstrong so bullet proof in Mowbrays eyes? Since he won player of the month last January he has been poor, at best. I just don't see how he is a shoe-in every game whilst better players sit on the bench or aren't even in the squad. Mowbray is a stubborn, stubborn man
  16. Exactly. You can see with Rothwell and Chapman that rather than focus on their strengths, Mowbray is fixated on pointing out their weaknesses.
  17. Of course It seemed to stay a bit under the radar over here, which was just swell!
  18. I only showed it to my friends a few weeks back. I was too embarrassed when it came out first, plus it was obvious we were on a downward spiral at that stage, so I was too annoyed to find the video funny for what it is. I think most fans of other clubs don't know about this. Luckily it wasn't on TV in the UK or Ireland. It is just the worst really.
  19. Christ can you imagine. "Damien needs to learn how we play. Work on the defensive side of his game. He needs to not take risks with the ball. He needs to wait for his chance" All whilst Gallagher and Armstrong are on the wings.
  20. Which makes his achievements even more impressive. He got Shamrock Rovers into the group stages of the Europa league, the first time an Irish league side every qualified for the group stages of a European competition. Everywhere he has managed he has exceeded expectations, not a little bit, but massively. He may have an issue with egos etc managing a club in England, but I think appointing him would be less of a gamble than many of the names that get bandied about when a vacancy comes up at this level. I would have loved him here. I would have been more excited with appointing him than I would be if we appointed Hughton.
  21. Man,I couldn't even tell you anymore.
  22. To be honest and this is probably worse, its not in tatters- we are irrelevant. My friends slag me about venkys and the fact they are chicken barons, but they all say that we should be a premier league side. As things stand, the majority of fans of others clubs just see us as a team with shit owners and a poor team compared to what we had before they came. Nobody gives much thought about us though!
  23. What was Bennett doing
  24. Walton was poor, nyambe dreadful for the equaliser. However, how can players ,mid table championship players, listen week in week out to a manager who picks bizarre and illogical starting 11s,let alone substitutions. My god, just pick the same team man. Nobody can predict what team he will play. Do other teams do this? Genuine question
