  1. Maybe Tosin could go DM to give Johnson a break
  2. He will have to bide his time, unless we go 3 at the back. He will start against Sheffield United anyway for sure.
  3. No the commentary was good. They even brought up about Dack and Grahams relationship and how Dack needs to figure out a way to play with a different striker. It was the "punditry" post game with John Goodman and Kevin Davies that I thought was awful.
  4. It was actually shocking, like so obvious they had only prepared to discuss Hull winning. They basically showed their highlights.
  5. Shake it all about? Like the new thread title
  6. Absolute must, but how much will we be talking? Hopefully it is being worked on as we speak
  7. Ya, in fairness to Bennett a lot of the work he does well isn't the most glamorous. Hull arguably have two wingers that would make 90% of teams in the league in Grosicki and the young lad whose name escapes me. Well Bennett was on them all the time and a few glimpses aside, didn't allow them much.
  8. I thought the coverage on Sky was pathetic last night. It seemed they had decided before the game that Hull would win and done no prep on us potentially winning, so post game they were talking like Hull had won. Did anyone else notice this? They also blew Armstrongs input into the goal completely put of proportion. If that was Walton in goals I would be expecting him to push a little midget out of the way and at least make an attempt to claim the ball.
  9. As pretty much every other club would be
  10. Great point. Imagine Gallagher playing against us and on Bennett. Bennett would be in for a tough night. Gallagher is very quick for a big lad.
  11. Some have said it. I even read him described as a "pub player" last night I love him in the team. He's the exact type of player I like. He miscontrols the odd time and looks a bit clumsy, but that aside he is worth his weight in gold to a team. The tackling, snarling around midfield, it's what we have missed since arguably Savage. He can play a bit as well. He has a knack of being involved at both sides of the field. Some good, some bad, but he never shys away from getting involved. No doubt about it that him and Travis are the best midfield pairing we have had since dropping from the premiership.
  12. I think it needs it be said as well, Walton took some balls from the air pretty far out. Balls that there is absolutely no chance Raya would have been claiming. That also helped big time.
  13. Great three points and unlike with Mulgrew in the team, I wasn't wracked with nerves. They never really looked like scoring. Williams was immense. Cunningham did some job on Bowen. It's a huge pity he can't play Saturday. Big fan of Downing, calm quality, we have missed that for a long, long time.
  14. Travis is winning everything in the middle. Downing busy
  15. No way that was a penalty. You can't start giving penalties for fair but manly challenges. Great save. Where is Dack?
  16. No, I said that we will never know because he was fired. He could only have done better than they eventually did without him. Wouldn't have been possible to do any worse.
  17. Bowen up against Cunningham should be interesting. I am more confident than if Bell was there. Bowen is a good player though....
  18. People in glass houses? Do you know how that metaphor works? Not sure you do No, it's not really that strange that he is managing Doncaster at all. He got the WBA job too soon in his career, barring being promoted, the only way was down. I am sure their fans were expecting automatic promotion, so anything outside of that would have been seen as under-performing. Ultimately they didn't get promoted after sacking him and maybe he would have done better. The guy they replaced him with certainly wasn't much better in my opinion.
  19. If they appointed him straight away you would be complaining that they didn't give enough time to exploring other options You would then probably say something like"If Barr isn't good enough to be promoted, then why is he still here!" Your last line is difficult to quantify, but I know for certain, that it isn't always the case.
  20. My god, ye are spoilt. At Ireland rugby or football games at the Aviva, it's €6.50 a pint. That's £5.93. Guinness or Carlsberg only In Dublin in general you would rarely get change from €5 for a pint. Got charged €7.50 for a pint last Christmas in Temple bar. It's a joke really. I used to travel to London a lot with my last job, it always felt nice having a reasonably priced pint.
  21. From people who don't know what they are talking about. Many things get stated here that are incorrect , then picked up as being reality.
  22. Having said I would be less confident with Graham not playing, I wouldn't be against seeing this away from home Armstrong Dack Rothwell Gallagher Although I think Tony has it in him to do something like this Gallagher Dack Rothwell Armstrong Whatever about the defence, we have a wealth of options in attack. It would just be nice if we got a performance sans Graham sooner rather than later.
  23. Got my little Sky sports pass on Now TV for €58 for 3 months. Bargain! Will be glued tonight. Really looking forward to it.
