  1. Which would be absolutely piss poor The usual hodge podge of players in too late, confusion and bizzare tactics Can't wait
  2. I agree but they could also give him a new one with us mid table
  3. I'd say they are waiting to give Mowbray a new deal. A good start after 10 games and he will get one and the usual suspect(s) on here will be saying he suddenly deserves it and that we should all just shut up and get behind the lads FFS
  4. Lol ya but surely someone could email a picture over? Right??
  5. Could they not just release a picture of the kits now? Doesn't really make sense
  6. I know, but when there are loads of posts here, you think something is happening!
  7. Lol. Are you genuinely suggesting that there is a chance he would leave Swansea to come here?
  8. As people have already explained to you, the signings were what they felt THEY needed. Plus of course some of the players would have been good for us and will excel at their new clubs, we might not have even heard of these players yet. We havent had a head of recruitment in place for 5 months. So between that and the "embargo" just how many signings have we missed out on? 3 weeks to the start of the season and as usual we will be bringing players in at a stage when they have missed the majority of pre season. We saw the issues this leads to with Ayala, as one example.
  9. To be fair, he said giving his the season after promotion was fair enough. We all pretty much agree on that. I think most give him credit for League 1 and so they should. I totally agree it's not straight forward to get out of that league, regardless of squad or budget. The thing is though his level is top league 1 to mid table championship. Nothing to suggest otherwise. That's the danger now. To be honest though, I don't think he will relegate us and people saying that is hyperbole, but we deserve better
  10. Great post. Sums the situation up perfectly. Can't disagree with a single sentence. It's very fair and the facts speak for themselves. Just to add though, I reckon the payers are unhappy with more that just his, questionable and biased, rotation policy. I reckon they are waiting for him to be sacked. The current situation is a recipe for failure, not success and whilst there are issues from the top to the bottom, results wise it's the managerial one that is the biggest threat short-term.
  11. Barnsley look to have made a clever, well thought out appointment as their new manager. The joys of being well run Having said that I would bet anyone that the "dinosaur" Mick McCarthy and the new Barnsley manager will both lead their clubs to higher league finishes than us. Anyone care to take that bet?
  12. The Graham/Dack strike force would have gotten most teams up there, yes. Mowbray does get credit for signing Dack and being practical with our style of play, eventually, as he did try nonsense at the beginning too The issue is he's knows he's untouchable since and therefore can run tough shot with any nonsense he wants. He had to be practical in League 1 as it's safe to say he would have been sacked if we didn't go up
  13. Derby who can only sign free agents will have signed about 5 players by next week
  14. A lot of clubs like Birmingham continue to do good business. Has the head of recruitment started yet? Snails pace club
  15. Was he on paper though? He has done worse than bad since.
  16. When anyone asks you a question you don't like, you say you don't want to talk about the manager, so why do you keep talking about him?
  17. I know what you're getting at for sure, but everyone fit at this point I would go for Ayala. Lenihan and a fit Keogh 5 years ago would have been fairly robust and physical. You wouldn't be playing out from the back though! It'' be very interesting to see how many games Ayala plays this season. If he gets injured again here he is done you would imagine.
  18. Ya, we are just the same 😆 classic @chaddyrovers
  19. In his prime he would have walked into any of our teams over the last 10 years. A top defender at this level and his cv shows that. How have you even watched him recently to say he's bloody awful? Do you subscribe to Huddersfield games? For a top club at this level now, no he shouldn't be a realistic signing, fast forward a few months though and we would probably be glad of him, when the inevitable bare bones defense is rolled out. As happens EVERY season.
