To be honest, traffic across the board is down and I'm not just talking about BRFCS, all sites I monitor have seen a drop in traffic and engagement over the past week and I can only put that down to current events. Also, as a kicker for BRFCS the period after the transfer window closes is always a bit quieter too.

On the surface it just sounds like another way for the club to sell advertising but when you look at how that advertising is delivered, wrapped around better quality content and better produced graphics and design then it sounds like it’ll be a step up on match days. maybe they’ll upgrade the big screen as well!

Can you send me a screenshot because we haven’t made any changes to the frequency or placement of ads for nearly 6 months. Even when we introduced the ad free subscription we didn’t turn them up for non subscribers like a lot of sites would.

How many people visit the front page? As in https://www.brfcs.com and how many people just jump straight into the forums? If you do then you miss little things like the count-downs we've had running all summer, and into the new season, the latest one is a countdown till T' Classico, the East Lancs Derby ...

Have you guys used the ratings feature for your scores in the Match Centre? https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/football/match/874672/blackburn-qpr?tab=voting nothing running at the moment but last season we ran a few competitions for people who voted. Also, we used these votes to award our Player of the Season award Hope you find it a useful feature.

It’d be more like the club recently if we just let them go to other forums for free …
