  1. Mowbray should have had the sense to move Mulgrew to defensive midfield and kept a chance of him supplying his goals from set pieces and corners it will have to wait while after Christmas when Rovers have sacked Mowbray.
  2. After watching this game Rovers were so poor in both defence and attack if we lose badly at Preston I think that a large section of the support will turn against Mowbray as I have thought all this season that the manager is not up to taking the club any further and its time for him to be releaved of his position.
  3. Have watched some poor games at Ewood this season the manager seems to have run out of ideas so I think this will be another defeat top 6 dream on Mowbray.
  4. Cannot blame Mulgrew now neither Lenihan and Williams are central defenders should have signed a tall combative central defender in the summer transfer window why did Mowbray allow Preston to sign the German player before Rovers after chasing him for all the previous season. Mowbrays ideas and style of slow build up football seem to belong to the past as football tactics have moved on.
  5. Lolly's goal for forest should have been blocked by Travis but rovers had a warning of his capabilities in the first minutes of the game when his shot flashed by the rovers left hand post getting into the Rhodes discussion he is a goal poacher supreme compare his record with any recent rovers strikers and finally you don't need pace when your a goal poacher just the gift to be in the right place to score.
  6. If Mowbray thinks this team is capable of getting into the top six I think he is going to be bitterly disappointed as are the rest of us who have to watch this rubbish.
  7. No pattern of play the need for two proper centre halves is shown again two easy headed goals conceded just the same as last season both crosses came from our left thought cunningham was supposed to tighten that side of our defence up our goal threat zero Mowbray clueless.
  8. Hope young Travis does not lose his place to Holtby as he has been playing well alongside Johnson.
  9. Should have signed a proper experienced centre half both Lenihan and Williams are converted from other positions.
  10. Two poor teams again at Ewood on Saturday entertainment zero cannot see this standard of performance attracting the increase in spectators the club are always publicising they are seeking.
  11. Poor game by two poor teams but three points are welcome Rovers have not scored a goal from open play yet in the league.
  12. Mowbray says at the end of last season we must tighten up the defence his answer to this problem sign Brightons forth rated goalkeeper and a 20 year old centre half from Man City youth set up thus two games no points one own goal for four goals against clutching at straws.
  13. Shocked that the skipper was moved on thought it a mistake a number of posts on here are very disrespectful to a player that led the club in promotion out of division one the defence comprises 5 players all of whom when things are not going well are responsible in some way hope this does not affect the spirit in the dressing room as to lose the skipper in this way must have an influence on some of the players.
  14. Whats going on cannot believe we are about to loan out our captain to a championship rival has mowbray lost the plot also we are left with inexperienced goalkeeper and centre half both on loan when we needed experience in both those positions Mowbray has had plenty of time to locate the necessary players.
  15. Charlton looked a limited but well organised side Rovers looked like nobody knew were to be or what to do in other words completely disorganised without clear directions the man to blame first of all is the manager not individual players.
  16. First half rovers did not match Norwich's press and allowed them to score from shots by players in space and not closed down second half we seemed to try to press them more and as the match progressed we seemed to be making more in the way of chances on goal thought Chapman did OK when he came on and the goalkeeper played well although Lenihan was lucky to stop on the pitch.
  17. Awful at Ewood against Stoke thought man of the match had to be David Raya as all the outfield players were well below par also missed Bradley Dack for his getting on to those Danny Graham knock downs survival in this division going to be touch and go at this rate rovers need a win from somewhere.
  18. Rovers will win nothing until they replace the goalkeeper and also buy a tall tough centre back.
  19. Rovers had the luck tonight that deserted them on saturday were Danny Grahams goal should have stood, Wigan gave us all 3 goals with terrible defensive errors but safety from the dreaded drop moves comfortably away.
  20. Start at the back with a new keeper makes the defence in front feel at lot safer look at the Dingles now Heaton is back between the sticks much harder score against but the same defenders who were conceding regular in front of Hart, Raya has cost the rovers at least 8 points with his mistakes.
  21. Mulgrew scores again but his defending not up to his usual standard at the moment,Bell loss of the ball led to the first goal and a mistake by Raya the second goal these Raya mistakes seem to happening on a regular basis and is becoming very worrying.
  22. Awful first half worst I have seen Charlie Mulgrew play in a rovers shirt whole team out thought and outplayed in the first half, Jack Rodwell neither strong enough or mean enough to play centre half as for Ben Brereton he is neither strong enough or quick enough to be a striker at this level yet both a centre half and striker should have been purchased in the January transfer window.
  23. David Raya seems to be making mistakes at crucial times.
  24. Thought Armstrong played well winning the penalty and setting up the second goal for Nuttall looks like Brereton is now behind Graham and Nuttall in the starting order.
  25. I agree, with Lenihan who is really a midfielder as your defensive partner no wonder Charlie is struggling its been obvious all season we need a proper championship centre half to play with Mulgrew as well as as striker who can hold the ball up.
