I really like Bennett, him and Reed always show willing. He was way out of his depth at right back though.

I am more annoyed with the weak mentality and poor application of the players at the minute, than I am of the manager. If everyone approached every minute of every match like Reed does, we'd be much higher up the league and not bickering over naff statistics of whether we're a long ball team. We've had similar arguments over the years and I'll always view it as the players are professionals and it is them who should be accountable for mistakes and lack of concentration/effort on the pitch. I think quite a few will play their way out of the side over the course of the run in. They did a great job last season (although shaky at times too) but quite a few don't have the mettle to take us to the next level.

I don't think we are a long ball team at all. Most often, we are a very good side when we are at 0 - 0. We hassle the opposition, pass effectively, close down, move quickly and hit them on the break - until we go in front. Then we become lethargic, try to walk through the rest of a match, stop harassing the opposition, aimlessly smash the ball away from defence, struggle to string two passes together and get caught out napping multiple times in quick succession because our rhythm and winning mentality is long gone. It is massively frustrating.

All this increasing Mowbray out sentiment worries me. We are a shambles on the pitch at the moment but my biggest fear is, we'd be far worse off rolling the dice. We are still owned by loons and undoubtedly, he is far from perfect but has our best interests at heart.

It's crazy that. Mowbray ' 'protects' (prevents) Rodwell from playing his best role but will stick Bennett anywhere.

I'm not a big fan of Bell but Mowbray has been totally ballsing up the selections. When fit, Nyambe should be RB. Bell LB. Bennett has had is arse owned for the last few games at RB. Too often he is fitting his favourite names in at any old position. We also looked far more assured with Downing in the side (apart from a wobbly spell at Boro away). I'd happily never see Williams in a Rovers shirt again.

The guy last home game was utter shit too. It's always seemed very easy to make big decisions against us for some reason.

Transfer window? Yeah, definitely. We desperately need to get some solid, out and out centre backs. We create 90% of our own problems by not doing the basics and switching off.

Football is insane. Two or three weeks ago, Rodwell deserved a 4 year contract, we could have been that late surging team into the play offs, Mowbray was king, the bench was strong, Nuttall was a match winning machine, Armstrong unplayable, Mowbray manager of the month and all was great. Now this shite.

Sounds like the players/defenders do. If the team selected are creating chances, then surely the manager had done well hasn't he? He can't put the ball in the net or stop it.

I get what you are saying but Conway was man of the match the other week and looked excellent.

I'm not losing anything. Read back my initial post. It isn't unreasonable. The lad gets a lot of stick already and I don't even think he's started a league match. Out of the dimwits who hurl abuse at our own, my reasoning is that the majority have seen a massive transfer fee and think that should equate him being amazing. Having thought about it, I still stand by it. Anyway, I'm not sure why you chose to be arsey with me about it and saying I've made up an imaginary fanbase etc. but so long as you feel better and it substantiates your own pov, awesome . There are better ways of disagreeing though.
