I kind of felt that too. Although some disagreed at the time, that squad was a top 3/4 team. How we never managed to get up there with the amount of goals scored by Rhodes and Gestede, and with the likes of Hanley, Dann and Duffy keeping it relatively tight at the back, is mystifying.

Are people seriously questioning Mowbray to the point of thinking he should be replaced? He's done a stirling job. It is massively frustrating to do this so often this season and we might have been an utter shambles today - but without him, we were a shambles on and off the field. He's turned the club around and done far more positives than negatives. I've no doubt, not just any manager could run our club and I'm glad we have him - even after results like this.

No, I'm watching it and I can see professional footballers not doing the absolute basics of defending. No doubt about it though, Mowbray failed to address the right hand side but throughout the side, they were useless and way off the pace. Very frustrating but you could see how it was going to pan out in the first half.

Above all, I love tjis Rovers side. They can frustrate at times but there isn't an arsehole or mercenary in the entire squad - a far cry from our recent history. I would have loved to add more quality because I want the fairy tale play off win but you never know, avoid injuries and anything can happen. I tight-knit squad who'll fight for each other will get more points than someone rocking up for a payday. One bad apple could ruin the cart, every signing we make must fit in with what has been crafted here.

I'm really happy with the signing of Chapman. Would've been nice to sign an upgrade in the striker dept. but I'm glad we haven't gone and bought any old dross.

I've just finished watching that Sunderland til I Die docu series. They did a real character assassination on Rodwell. They signed him, didn't put relegation clauses in his contract and froze him out to force his hand - so shut up and pay the man.

That's one way of looking at it but arguably, Travis and Nuttall leaving on loan (but for recent performances) would have weakened it...so we could be deemed as stronger (which I feel we are with Travis in the side).

I honestly don't think at this point he'd go somewhere like Brighton, Cardiff, Burnley, Huddersfield, Fulham or Newcastle. Someone higher up the table with more chance of being in the Premier League next season, then yes.

Could be why he's playing out wide. Don't want him scoring too many if you can just win one nil ?
