  1. For all the criticism Yuki is the only player in their half of the pitch doing anything. Two or three times he's got down the left and no on else is in the same postcode.
  2. Hard work and determination puts him above most of the squad for me. We have a poor, poor squad but at least he tries.
  3. Alebiosu is miles ahead of him as a signing. Good finisher but offers little the rest of the time. That said, he can get away with it when he's scoring.
  4. I feel like I use the phrase "I've never seen Ewood this empty" every week this season.
  5. If we get another called off I'll be amazed if the EFL don't begin the punishments. It's an absolute farce and completely preventable. If the game goes ahead, Oxford have a bit of fight about them and we generally struggle with that. With the cancellation at the weekend an Oxford win will rope us in so this is a must-win for me. However, I doubt we will. Rovers 1-1 Oxford
  6. Like that he's come out strong, but it has also given the perfect excuse not the reinforce the squad in January, which I fully expect them to take. Knowing them, they'll half-ass the pitch maintenance too.
  7. Wolves are absolutely shocking. United aren't that much better but if this is how they're set for the season I don't think they'll even reach Derby's total. The United goal was also just awful from every single player's POV, on both teams.
  8. I can't see how that would fly considering the Ipswich game setting the precedent.
  9. Another thing this does now is add a tonne of extra pressure to the Oxford game. We lose the extra 3 points a win would've given us, with a win taking them above us most likely, and the added pressure that if it's raining on Tuesday we likely won't be able to finish the game.
  10. Saw one saying "waiting for the EFL to screw us over again". Utter delusion.
  11. Already seeing "oh we're so unlucky" comments. Saw it earlier when Forshaw went off, and in previous games with injuries, call-offs etc. IT IS NOT LUCK. It is years of managed decline and anyone pretending otherwise at this point... I just can't understand it. Nobody benefits from this ownership anymore, including the owners. Just sell up ffs.
  12. Problem is the owners don't invest anything anymore, it'll just be out of the club's pot of which there is currently nothing.
  13. It's beyond embarrassing. Maybe I've just got rose-tinted glasses on but I don't remember us having anything like the issues with the pitch that we've had in the last 10 years under the Walker Trust.
  14. Another game where we aren't really doing anything, but at least we've got a goal. Need another one because we all know we won't hold on when the cavalry arrives, but 3 points is the priority above all else.
  15. We are also incredibly bad, so it's not surprising.
  16. Absolute must win, and I think it will be very tight. I think we'll do it, but wouldn't be surprised if we didn't. Rovers 1-0 Wednesday
  17. First 30 mins yesterday were the first times I saw him actually affect a game further than 5 yards out, but as the game went on he vanished again before popping up for the goal. I said it yesterday but our issue is we've got all the attributes of a top striker spread across two players - Yuki's work rate and boundless energy and Andri's ability to lose his man and finish (generally, he's missed some sitters too). If they could teach each other they would be deadly.
  18. Agree with most of your post but there was a really clear foul in this one (I think on Cantwell but I can't remember for sure) who was taken out after pulling it back past the defender at the edge of the box. Guy next to me at work supports Swansea and said it was one of the worst decisions he'd seen in a while.
  19. Tosin may have left Rovers a while ago but there's still a bit of us in him.
  20. I assume it was the bodycheck on Ohashi but for me he'd already lost control of the ball. Seen them given, seen them not.
  21. Out of interest as it doesn't say because it was even longer back... when was the last winner we scored in the 90th minute or later?
  22. We're lucky to score one goal a game, concede late goals for fun and can't win at home. I'm not sure why you wouldn't include us in that conversation.
  23. You're not getting robbed if it happens every game.
  24. Donkey manager blows it again. Get him gone.
  25. Tavares is the laziest footballer ever. Watches his teammate win the tackle 2 feet from him and just stands still. Ipswich player gets up, turns around and still gets the ball before he steps once.
