I have no idea after Tuesday what this outcome would be. I thought we would beat cov tuesday after their poor start. I think draw at best, but this could be any scoreline for either side.

I don't know how popular this will be, but in my opinion from what I have seen of this lad, is hes good enough to be starting. Every time I have seen him play he can defend and attack. Lacks a bit with his final ball, but his pace and being able to get up and down is brilliant. In my opinion hes better than Britain. We are not the quickest team, and his ability to get up and down and his pace is great. He looks like he can defend to. Hes 19! great age to be starting to play. Think he needs pushing in, and keeping carter, bath and Hyam as Cbs. And btw I think Carters done fine covering at RB. But hes basically put rb for now so he can get up the pitch and head it from Pears kicking when we play Yuki up there. Im not Britains biggest fan, and I think its time this lad gets a chance over him. I get the feeling Eustace doesn't really like youth! Hes got to start somewhere.

My predicted JE 11: Pears Brittain carter Hyam Pickering tronstad trav Weimann Dolan Dubbery Gueye Not sure we need 3 CBS on the pitch for a home match even though we have had 2 clean sheets, I thinks Sundays poor attacking display will give him licence to change it a bit. With Pickering back after a bit of time out, you would think he would give him some legs in front of him to help him out, so I reckon Dubbery might get a starting debut.

I was away at the weekend so I only managed to watch the highlights. So I cant really comment too much on it. Everyone has said it was a poor display, fair enough, 6 games unbeaten, 2 clean sheets in a row and sitting top 6, take an away draw and move on. Nothing wrong with playing poor and picking up a point in my view, especially away, id almost say its a good sign, don't play great and still come away with something. Still a cracking start to the season. 3 points at home to QPR and this one will be forgotten about rather quickly.

2-2 or 3-2 win is my prediction. Excellent effort on the tickets being sold. I don't see how us drawing to Burnley away will then see us lose to PNE away. Cant see us losing this one. JE is harry potter. Absolute magician. Gueye bags one with his head, whether he starts or comes on.

The longer a keeper does not play the worse it is for that keeper. Keepers need regular games to be sharp. Hes either been bought in to be number one or hes just been bought in as a body to hopefully be as good or better than pears. If hes not starting Saturday I would imagine thats because Eustace doesn't know a lot about him, and hes been signed as a punt and hope, lets face it, if hes meant to be good hes being thrown straight in (which I wouldn't be surprised if it was the 'punt and hope' due to how late he came through the door, sounded like he was about 20th choice on the list!). Lets just hope hes an improvement on pears, which will ultimately improve us even more.

I can see us drawing this one, or losing. Without Gueye I think we might struggle. My feeling says 1-1. hopefully yuki does the business and we win! Cant wait for this international lark out the way. Hopefully a new keeper in the sticks for us.

I hope im wrong, but does anyone else get the feeling the cantwell deal will break down and he goes somewhere else in the championship? I can see us getting the keeper, a random winger nobody has ever seen apart from youtube videos without a single mens appearance, and then a random free bee at 9:30pm. Either way a keeper and a pacey winger is a must. But like someone else on here said, I do worry if gueye gets injured. I wouldn't mind an old has been with a proven track record as backup on the cheap, someone that can hold it up win headers and pop up in the box when needed. Need 3 more in at a min IMO for this to be an alright window, we aren't far off a better squad than last season, Yes Szmods scored goals, but all round we have better quality in terms of depth compared to last year.

I think the 11 will be pretty similar to what played against norwich and derby. I think Gueye will start instead of onashi up top. I think the only player thats probably played himself out the team is JRC. Be interesting whether Yuki or weiman replace him. No matter who we sign between now and Saturday, I cant see anyone coming in and starting a debut in this fixture, not even a new keeper.

lets hope Gueye and Yuki dont get injured this week! Id take a draw. With both of them available we stand a chance. There is a international 2 week break after this game, so would be good to sign off the international break undefeated. Think this a big week for us. Lots of questions will be answered come the end of the week. Will the squad have depth? Will we get the positions we need? How far have we really come, will it be a reality check, or have we made good strides?

what an absolute stinker this is. End of the day though they CAN still fund us. Just means any new money needed on top of whatever's in the bank needs to be paid in double due to the guarantee. Lets not forget they can still fund us if they WISH (which of course means they wont). Worse case scenario here is that we don't get sanctioned to spend anymore on new signings as they wont want to double the money for the guarantee, if they need to add more into the bank. Lets hope we can still get a few in. I fully expect us to max out the loan market either way which means another 4 in at least. We defo need minimum 4 more bodies in the door. I am still confident the lights will always be on, for whatever silly reason they still seem to want to.

I can see us getting a score draw here. The cb pairing of hanley and duffy looked awful last week, but Gueye may be more beneficial for them to play against. this is pure torture, I was completely ready for szmods to leave.... he now plays the odd few minutes scoring goals, and it then gives you this false hope he may stay? 😂 I'm now to the point its going to be absolutely gutting him going at this stage. I think we all know how this ends. He gets sold in the final few days to someone out the blue, like a leeds. I had told myself its done in pre season. Now its like a slow death. Praying for a miracle he stays.

get a better keeper in, fullback cover, and potentially 1 or 2 pacey wingers, and keep szmods, then you cant not agrue a case for a playoff push. Seasons top scorer, a more stern defence, and a better bench. Anything is then possible. But 1000000% see szmods going the final few days of the window leaving us no time to spend any money, which is what venkys probably want to happen, gives them an excuse.

I didnt go to the stockport game, but I am only commenting from what I saw on the rovers highlights. Looks like we played alright but missed a hatful of easy chances. I get the feeling gueye is a bit of a jason Roberts, great around the pitch, but useless in front of goal when it matters. Also painful to see nobody else take chances. If their is a god looking down on us and szmods stays, I can see him getting another 30 goals playing off of Gueye. From those highlights he looked a good player around the pitch, I just think he requires a goal snatcher off him. BUT we all know friendlies are not much to look at, we won the premier league without winning a friendly if i remember correctly! We need a couple players in with an eye for goal desperately! Wish the season was another month away 😂

Whatever happens friday, If its not great, I think fans need to remember, its going to be hard to picture what we are really about until probably mid September at the earliest. We have had an influx of new players that haven't played friendlies for us, plus he still wants another 3-4 players in. That would take it to like 8/9 new players with no friendlies, no pre season to bed in with our current crop. Think it will be a slow start. Not really ideal prep!
