I did read an article about the debt they put the club in, when buying it. In some ways it seemed like a smaller version of what United did. Spending like they did looks like a real risk, so makes me wonder what their aim is. Cut and run possibly?

I think given his fairly poor start to the season, some people are hanging him out to dry. There is a player in there for certain and I for one can see beyond, some of the short comings and clearly you can too. Hopefully the goal and assist in the last two games, give him the impetus and confidence he needs to push on and have a good season.

Delighted with the 3 points, as we probably only deserved a draw. The football gods were with us today, rather than against us. Three pivotal points with a lot of mediocrity in between. The offside went our way, when I wouldn’t have complained had it counted. Then the goal, which was a great through ball from Dolan and a nice finish. Finally a terrific save from Leo, so much so that he punched the air. Great to see back to back clean sheets and much prefer this then going for the jugular being exposed and losing by the odd goal in a goal fest.

Technically as pointed out by PhilipL we don’t owe them 200 million. They have sunk that into the club, with no chance of getting it back.
