try this for starters and let me know of you need any more. Rovers Revisited

This is a picture of Kenny Dalglish arriving at Ewood yesterday. It seems to have slipped under the radar. Does anyone know what it was about? 414142C6-EB49-426E-8A4C-8D23C8375321.MOV

He must qualify as fit and proper then?

It’s a shame that some posters on here, who are Rovers fans, have rubbished some of the work, certain people did, not just outing Kean, but outing the whole regime back then. One person dismissed it as just a blog and one persons opinion. Without some of that graft, for no financial reward, Kean would have got away with even more and so would have some of his inner sanctum.
-
You don’t think he would have saddled us with just any old owner do you? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/twohundredpercent.net/laurence-bassini-bolton-wanderers-marriage/amp/

People still involved, who I certainly would not trust. Despite this, we are supposed to accept that they were badly advised and that changes are afoot that will benefit the club.
-
Moyes loved him according to this story, so perhaps West Ham are about to offer him a gig?
-
He sounds like a world beater in that interview. I wonder why he never got another managers Job in the UK having been in charge of a premier league team? No mention of the drink driving offence or his bonuses, that were payable even if relegated, or all of the signings he made, that never kicked a ball in the first team.
-
it was amazing how he and his Agent were given so much time on air, by sky with no right of reply for the fans. The crying episode, where Anderson claimed the fans had driven his son out of our club, was unreal. I have never seen acting as bad in my life. Those two were complicit in getting Myles a playing contract with a premier league club, which was at least 5 leagues higher up, then his real level. Did anyone at Sky ever follow it up to see if Myles made it elsewhere, or were the pesky Rovers fans, correct after all? For the people who want to forget what happened 10 years ago, I apologise in advance of you reading this, but think it is best we remember.

I don't know to be honest, but I bet other people will know.

The connection might become a bit clearer, when you read this. https://www.leaderlive.co.uk/news/15951378.rossett-football-agent-on-perjury-charge-over-1m-transfer/

Just do a companies house search for HSH sports limited and (Company number 09173116) click on people and also check the address. You might find it quite interesting that bit. Do a proper search for the 3 people mentioned and you will see a connection with people connected to the club from days gone by. Put two and two together and you will probably find the answer.

If there are still people at the club, who are gaining more than a fair rate financially, by bringing players and management staff in, then nothing has changed. In the Nelsen interview, he didn’t actually name the person, who called him to tell him to collect his belongings and clear off, without saying bye to anyone, but I’m sure I know who that was. Fast forward 11 years and we are perhaps going to lose 3 players for very little, or nothing very soon and replacements are apparently lined up. Hopefully, they will be at least as good as those we lose and any agent involvement, will be at normal rates of commission.
-
Good advice this time hopefully?

Sadly I think we do have to look back, as what has gone on cannot be ignored. It’s highly likely that the evidence was not quite sufficient to bring a criminal prosecution, but that does not mean things did not happen. Look at the Blatter and Platini situation and how that looked similar in some ways, at one point. What if they had got away with it, would we have let them loose to carry on, due to not wanting to look back. The things that have gone on over 11 years are horrible and it makes me wonder if the club will ever return to what it once was.

You might remember I recommended you read a blog, entitled Rovers Revisited. That text is on there and I am sure as can be that it is genuine. Not only that, there is a very upsetting E Mail sent to Paul Gahan at Lancashire Police. This was sent due to the writer of the blog fearing for his own safety and the safety of his family. Pretty scary stuff and easy enough to be checked for it’s authenticity, for anyone who desires.
-
See the post made by Tomphil. Solgado has and I believe still is, happy to go on record to confirm it is genuine.
-
Read the Mowbray thread and you will see some alternative views.

That's the only way I see them getting out of this mess, but as you know, that olive branch has been turned down before. Why they choose to ignore people who would have the clubs best interests at heart is beyond me, hence the conspiracy theories, with or without substance.
-
Absolutely yet some people some people seem to have forgiven forgotten and someone seems to have taken offence at me, posting a link to stories from the past, that allege things may not all be sweetness and light at Venky Towers.
-
Bad advice, bad luck, made up stories, who knows? What I do know though, is I don't trust the people making the decisions still and I for one am therefore firmly on my guard with them.
-
Exactly and I can't quite get my head round, why the poster has said what he has. Vey baffling, to say the least.

Here is the Nelsen Interview, where he pulls no punches and says it as it is. He was told, to go and pick his stuff up, so no goodbyes or anything else to anyone and if he did, he would be paid 80% of his contract. He did exactly that and received a call a few days later from Harry Redknapp asking him to sign for Spurs. The debate about john Williams giving him and other players Ludicrous contracts, is up for discussion, but what is not up for debate, is the players brought in to replace these players, got us relegated from the prem and nearly from the Championship too. I don't really care, if I am bringing things up from 10 years ago, I haven't forgiven or forgotten, bit perhaps I am in the minority? https://www.icloud.com/attachment/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcvws.icloud-content.com%2FB%2FAdyBqz-VAQ8wCVfO6j4B8ktKLDHoAX1WEuZo2oZs9qkZgeUgwsYuFDVb%2F%24{f}%3Fo%3DAtAsthv9HSN7eepzZT0HsEo9c7SEGsEQh9FLz8PMEdUV%26v%3D1%26x%3D3%26a%3DCAogTiQ117ms2WE5YZ_lpH7tbMd4rxAufBncHTk2cMZeG1YSeBDjl7yD0C8Y46e319kvIgEAKgkC6AMA_wW9fVdSBEosMehaBC4UNVtqJrGrlcWrgLIRttejuY5Twk4yVIFivpIDlHn1rJPYgig3fulh17oBcibIGeyiTYaIExmdZRR0ULdFYo6qcn1W5ZEmsCgj95ZxhF967hpQBw%26e%3D1638981817%26fl%3D%26r%3D3E899785-5335-4C12-B595-2A4F1774CF57-1%26k%3D%24{uk}%26ckc%3Dcom.apple.largeattachment%26ckz%3D83D0B539-6A6D-4F50-A673-A689DBDCED5B%26p%3D51%26s%3DnHegahz51ifHpNHpR0XHuh0Yxiw&uk=57dZ7oD91bV0h6MEpEX9nQ&f=IMG_6002.MOV&sz=190243329

Revidge blue has suggested today in the Mowbray thread that it was the right thing to do, or words to that effect!!
-
Yes that's correct. The players alleged to have had their contracts paid up, as per this text are Solgado himself, Brett Emerton, Ryan Nelson (did you hear him confirm the same thing in his interview posted on here on Saturday/) and Keith Andrew. All these ludicrous contracts, were cancelled in favour of Leon Best, Danny Murphy, Bradly Orr, Dickson Etuhu and Myles Anderson. Although perhaps it is only alleged that these contracts were cancelled, the signing made to replace them, were pretty real. Not more mud against the wall, hard facts, but granted a while ago and perhaps repeated with the likes of Mulgrew, Bennett and Smallwood, more recently?
