Weird game - kept a clean sheet but som hairy moments and timely offsides plus Toth and Millers interventions 😃 Good attacking play and a striker who knows where to be - felt like they have worked on areas to cross to as well so a little cred to the coaches too Gudjohnsen played a crossfield ball first half (to De Neve) that was awesome, he holds the ball well last 5-10 mins and he isn’t dreadful at linking play on the ground. Keeps playing like today and he is a good fit for our 2 up top and advanced wingbacks

Along the same lines as Big Sam preferring a corner to a shot from 25 yards - statistically corners are the better option but in the championship with bog average keepers i do wonder (not least as we are shit from corners...)

According to the stats onscreen after the match yesterday we were better in all aspects except actual goals. As it this is obviously an outlier then it can be safely excluded from the dataset. Wonder if there is an appeals process as an outlier in the data should not be able to affect the result to this extent… 🤡

I have him down as a reasonable player outside the box but not a goal scorer. Problem I saw (again) today is that players really don’t know where to put the crosses/final ball. That is a major coaching flaw - either pen spot or area between keeper and backline should be drilled into them all. Sure the odd miscue/overhit will still happen but right now it looks like they have never trained together
