  1. Of course they could - just have a feeling that the decision will be accompanied by the date for the replay. All angles covered - no public debates about when it should be played etc
  2. I genuinely think the delay is purely due to the EFL wanting to state the date for the replay in their decision. That requires agreement from all sides (including Police etc)
  3. They would really piss off our COO... (all the costs of hosting a game but no revenue ๐Ÿ˜‰)
  4. Exhibit A in the Ipswich response to a suggestion that Rovers should be awarded a 1-0 win...
  5. Someone quoted the customer charter earlier in the thread - half price i think was the stipulated condition if a game was abandoned (not postponed)
  6. I know - would require a special kind of idiocy (or biased) to advocate that the pitch was playable. Was just a laugh but i noted that the choice of wording by Rovers is "consulted" - sounds much better (to our fans) than "agreed"
  7. Not entirely sure that Val would be in agreement with ending the match - that is a very nuanced view of that the referee consulted both managers. Can imagine the conversation was roughly: Ref: Little Mac - what do you think? McKenna - call it off - somebody think of the children players - somebody could lose an eye leg. Plus the ball doesn't roll or bounce and our highly trained professionals only do rolling and bouncing balls. Ref: Big Val - what do you think? Val: play on - no worries. Our players play keepy uppy in training all the time so they can don't need to play it on the ground. McKenna: Ref - remember it is all on you if someone gets injured and our players actually cost more than a Big Makc Ref to everyone else: ok - both managers consulted. I'll just check to see if it has dried up in the last 25 minutes of pissing rain... Ref: Little Mac - Big Val: see you again in a few weeks
  8. If i have read everything correctly: Game will be replayed 11 vs 11 Red card will result in suspension for their player but not against us Prediction: we will have at least 2 key players missing the replay through suspension or injury Conclusion: ๐Ÿคฌ
  9. Step forward David Lowe... ๐Ÿ‘€
  10. Ps. A change in formation that didn't lead to total self-destruction - forgot that it was possible ๐Ÿ˜
  11. I'll bite in that i didn't think he anything like as bad as the comments on here suggest (today only). Will really struggle against teams that don't give him any space/time and needs Tronstad (or similar) next to him but i would rather him than Buckley (given our other CM signing is expected to be the replacement for Travis)
  12. Commentator said Tronstad signaled to the bench
  13. I will be pleasantly surprised if we avoid conceding first 20 minutes ๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. But houldnโ€™t we trying to put the ball in the net at the other end boss?
  15. Think that the bit about existing set ups is a boast/threat/willy waving that will never be used (other than as per the current situation when a club/business is failing to meet its obligations to staff or HMRC)
  16. Would love to know what is actually happening with Pears. Think RuHail (eller SuDy??) had counted on 2m (ish) for him but something is not going to plan with that...
  17. Do we know if Posh increased the offer/price or did RG manage to overrule Suhails veto? If the latter then things could get very interesting...
  18. Can we get a separate thread going and will it be on (cc)TV?
  19. Connected to Leonard still being in the building? (the rapid fire sale of Hyam i mean)
  20. Has anything actually happened? Are Leonard and Pears still here? Is Hyam on the M6? Anyone - anything?
  21. Could Wednesday's edition be that the Vs say "oh no we don't"...? ๐Ÿ˜‰ (thanks for keeping us up to date - feels like being a kid again waiting for next weeks installment or the new season of a show after a few months... ๐Ÿคฃ)
  22. Ringing any bells from december during JDTs second season... Though i expect a back 3 with Miller Wharton and Pickering (provided Wharton doesn't pick up an injury in training)
  23. Bizarre that the away team for our 150 anniversary match will probably have more starts for Rovers than Rovers and their manager will have accrued more points for Rovers than our manager coach Wonder if David Lowe will be there...
