Does Hyam get credited with 3 assists or have I misunderstood how it works? -

Not yet 🤣😉 (I meant that he did it here but not a word afterwards. As others have said - smart - but it would be fun with a little q&a on his time at the club 🥳) -

Interesting that JDT has not mentioned the shitshow since leaving. Not a criticism of him but ironic that as an employee/contracted party he could speak more freely than as an ex employee/contracted partner. Sums up the wacky world of football -
Unfortunately his name is not Billy otherwise he might be the answer to goalkeeping problems 😉

Did you miss that he is carp? 😉🤣 I think JE (and others before him) don’t really trust Buckley in a 2 in midfield unless we have 5 at the back. that said, if JRC and Tronstedt are fit then they are first choice on merit imo.

Fair enough - I couldn’t think of a single change that wouldn’t have weakened the team even considering tiredness. Personally think JE made the right call in isolation but it could easily bite him on the ass fatigue/injury wise -

Understand your point but in yesterday’s situation would you have brought any of those players on with around 20 mins left purely because the others were starting to tire? -

Made a deal with myself not to read or listen to him even after good results - the guy might not save our club but if he has the players working like yesterday then fair dos as he is head coach not manager. Yesterday also demonstrated what a shit show it is behind the scenes - not a single viable sub on the bench with 15 minutes left - zero options to freshen things up either mid game or to next game. People talk about protecting Sammie S but when the options are Buckley, Moran or Telavovic then it is much less clear cut. TLDR don’t listen to his bullshit - you’ll probably be happier -

Think we will be picked off today - expect 2 early goals for Southampton that we never really recover from - maybe a goal around 85 mins to make it 2-1 but I expect a loss today but I hope I’m wrong -

Pivotal moments - chrisene got away with losing the ball after getting it back from Pears. Sunderland player slips - we take it off him and quality, clinical play/finish gives us the lead. Ball goes out - whilst Sunderland players focus on that ball, we grab one of the “multi balls” and a bit of incisive play and finish makes it 2. After the break we kept pushing and Gallagher got a bit fortunate with the bounce and Hedges finished clinically. Perfect away performance but made me think back to games where we dominated but couldn’t score. -

Agree in theory but in practice having a happy Sammy is in the best interests of Rovers… -

He disguised his intentions and fooled the Sunderland lad (and himself 🤣) but took advantage with a good layoff to Hedges -

Stick Teleavovic up front, Dolan and SS either side, ayari, tron, jrc midfield and back 4 Not working - bring on chrisene or moran for Tel. Really not working - carter on and go to a back 5. Oh and bring out Inces tactical masterplan… -

Outstanding performance yesterday - proud of the players. I wonder if the Brum owners watched a match, read his comments the day after and realized he was totally full of shit regardless of results. Our owners meanwhile don’t watch, Waggot and the Shadow say all is good and the players are happy cos they all get a pat on the head and a lollipop. Total twat which would be fine if he got the occasional result or accidentally told the truth once in a while but it really does feel like his comments are aimed at people that didn’t actually see the games And yes I liked JDT but this guy is now taking the piss along with our fabled senior players including Scott Wharton -
Even more bizarre to then have 2 of those players in a meeting with the fans and them going along with it. Cynical as I am that really does suggest said players have been given something in exchange - more control/input/power in relation to the head coach instantly springs to mind…

Anybody know if Broughton still turns up for work or is he gardening?
