If he was on 5k PW and had signed for less than a million he would be a decent signing/player given our ambition of lower mid championship. For 5m and 15k (or more) PW then we could do better. All told: if it is Telavovic or Gallagher then it is no longer a discussion… (although sometimes I wonder 😉)

Did you miss that he is carp? 😉🤣 I think JE (and others before him) don’t really trust Buckley in a 2 in midfield unless we have 5 at the back. that said, if JRC and Tronstedt are fit then they are first choice on merit imo.

Fair enough - I couldn’t think of a single change that wouldn’t have weakened the team even considering tiredness. Personally think JE made the right call in isolation but it could easily bite him on the ass fatigue/injury wise
