Last night highlighted why implementing a plan b is not easy against teams that sit back. With SG off, and no Hedges the last 20 were “JDT” football. If Telavovic was trusted and we dared go to a back 4 then we could have just bombarded their box. That it didn’t/can’t/won’t happen under current circumstances I can fully understand given the players available and our shocking record of conceding late goals.

I’m assuming (and hoping) the the Birmingham reference was more to do with the players traveling for the game at Birmingham and then needing to rest because of our coach (😉 ) Can also imagine that there have a few fair meetings for JE with staff and players to listen and get them onboard with the new “direction” If traveling from Birmingham to Blackburn is too much of a commute given the importance of our situation then JE is in the wrong job.
