I agree that on his day he’s class but I do also think he has too many “invisible” games also.. However, Dacks profile is a lot higher than Vaulks Lolley and Browne. I honestly believe we’d get 10-15 million for him, I don’t think he’s ready for the prem yet but I don’t think it’s out of the realms of possibility that a prem club would come in for him.. Saying that though, the chicken farmers sold Cairney for 3 million so who knows if they’ll be planning on taking 5 million and selling our main man for a quick buck..

I’d rather have Marquis from Donny. Scored a lot of goals over the last three years for them. Can play the Graham role but is a lot more mobile than DG also, good player.

Think tonight also showed how far we are away from being near the top end of this league. Norwich were unstoppable at times going forward today and despite our best efforts after the first 20 minutes it still could have been 4 or 5.. We got as high as we did earlier in the season through team spirit and out working teams, it’s been clear all season we lack that extra quality needed to sustain a top six/promotion push. I hope TM gets backed this summer because if we can add 3 or 4 players that improve the spine of our team and those around that 3 or 4 put their bodies on the line like our lads have done in say 80% of our games this season ? Then I feel we’d be able to compete.. Massive summer ahead.

We were awful for the first 25 minutes till we pulled one back and got into the game a bit more, let’s face it though it’s clear too see how good of a side they are. Williams has probably been our best player on the pitch, Leutweiler potentially should have saved the first one but he’s made a couple of decent saves so I wouldn’t be too harsh on him, let’s hope Mowbray is true too his word and brings a keeper in this summer.

While watching Bennett at RB is as painful as always. He does well at times chucking his body in front of shots and getting the odd tackle in but when he’s isolated one on one it’s always painful too watch.

What a shame Paul Warne and Rotherham just didn’t have enough too stay up, nobody gave them a chance at the start of the season including me but they’ve credited themselves very well this season with such a small budget. In an ideal world they’d have stayed up and Wigan would have gone but Wigan managed to turn it around much too our despair.. May I also add, before the season started I said Bolton Ipswich and Rotherham would go down. You’d imagine so, no matter your opinion of him as a player he is a good guy who cares about the club there’s no doubt about that.

Nuttall won’t ever be good enough too start week in week out for us, move him on.

Jim’s crying because a few rovers fans on Twitter have been going on Bolton’s website and voting for Lowe as their player of the year, I don’t personally think there’s anything malicious in that and I can see the funny side.. I also see the funny side of the rovers fans tweeting about how good a player Lowe was and that he should be left alone and not subject too any sort of ridicule. People take social media way too seriously.

Everytime I’ve seen Nuttall play I’ve not been impressed, he didn’t look very good in league one! He’s obviously stronger than Brereton and a different type of player, he’s popped up with the odd poachers goal but for me Nuttall is not going too be playing championship football in the future. I think in five years Brereton will have had a better career than Nuttall.. I’m happy too be quoted on this if it turns out too be absolute nonsense The reality is both aren’t really ready or good enough yet too be starting week in week out at championship level (Neither is Samuel)

Look at Norwich and Huddersfield in recent years in their promotion seasons from this league, there’s talent in the foreign leagues and you don’t always have too pay much too get it..

In my lifetime we’ve never been the sort of club to turn up and spoil a party, I think we’ll get beat but with the way we’ve played the last four games I’ll expect us too give them a game.. Like you say, coming away with anything would be a great result for us.
