Or because of their warped thinking ignoring Mowbray was kinder than sacking him. Not even sure it's a money thing in truth, more of the way they operate.

I'd suggest it's nothing more than our refusal to pay decent wages and having 17 layers of sign off. The club generally keeps a lid on signings these days.. Whether that's because of the above or intentionally remains to be seen

The expectation that one good appointment makes everything OK is naive in the extreme. We're still owned by the same useless c&nts that have no interest in us other than keeping the lights on. And we don't even know if its a good appointment yet. Really hoping it is and JDT is the miracle worker we need to get promoted but it's nothing more than a very slim hope for me.

Ignore the way JDT was employed at your peril. It was clearly being run like an absolute shit show - as anyone with a functioning brain would've predicted - until Broughton was head hunted by this mysterious agency. Yes it's a positive outcome but what happens if JDT bails in 6 months? We'd have to hope Broughton hadn't also fucked off and that he genuinely does have the owners ears. Given the last 12 years I don't see how you couldn't be wary and that's not being negative that's being realistic.

I think if we finish above Boro we'll be promoted. Expecting a mid table stability type season and to hopefully push on the season after.. If JDT doesn't realise that our owners don't give a shit and bail on us that is! Though I'm hoping Broughton's direct line into them should help on that front.
