I have a slightly different take: Why is St. George's Day about English pride? Be proud of it EVERY day. Same logic, I don't just love my wife on Valentine's Day, nor is my family only Christian at Christmas. Equally: If it's a day to celebrate St. George, why not celebrate his other patronages? Georgia, agricultural workers, farmers, field workers, soldiers, archers, armourers, equestrians, cavalry, saddle makers, chivalry, peacekeeping missions, skin diseases, lepers, leprosy, syphilis, sheep, shepherds, and scouting. But returning to the main point... Celebrate it if you like 🤷

Concrete offers: 2 (that we know of); the Ians and the Qataris. Enquiries made: At least 5, some of which are just waiting for the sale sign to go up (putting pressure on Venkys to sell just raises the price) - and these were during the Senior era I don't have more detail than that, but I'm certain there will have been more offers/enquiries in the 5 years since.

Do I? I mentioned him once in a humourous context (being here while Burnley still owe him money). 'Neither is Dyche' suggests you know Farke's also not realistic, yet you keep mentioning him. Something you berate others for when they mention Dyche. My whole point is you are being hypocritical about it AND it's not for you to tell other posters to stop talking about something. Next time you see a post about Dyche just scroll past it instead of berating the poster.

Personally I'd go with (all areas). £299 Adults £199 Seniors/18-23/Adults in full-time education. £149 Juniors (includes free replica shirt).

Overrated quality. The only person we've ever hired with previous football CEO experience is Waggott. Our best CEO this century had no experience at all in football.
-
I'd play the pair of them in midfield, a la Savage and Tugay.

Hope Buckley was taking notes on Thiago's performance last night.

Agreed. For all the hopeful noises, they're ONLY hopeful. Venkys' record speaks for itself and cannot inspire confidence.

One thing I can say with some confidence, although I probably need to put 'allegedly': Venus is apparently already actively looking for work elsewhere AND without Mowbray. With another (albeit not confirmable) tidbit from the same source, I'm more confident than ever that none of Mowbray, Venus, Park, Lowe (possibly Benson) will be at Ewood next season. This source is under the impression that 'reset' similar to Lambert's appointment is on the cards, albeit he won't say any names. He HAS touted Ainsworth repeatedly in the past so I'm personally choosing to put 2+2 together on that. Edit: rigger's post above is one to keep an eye on.

1. Definitely, if only to try and keep it affordable. 2. There was a clause involved because of the contract length that some of it be guaranteed (wasn't it a seven year contract or something daft?) 3. Because it's not THAT unrealistic. Weirder things have happened in football, and weirder things have happened to Rovers. It's Dyche not bloody Mourinho.

Shaun Maloney has left Hibs! What odds on Steve K***?

That's not what he's saying Chad's, he's being sarcastic. IE: This rumour this week, that rumour last week.

Does not compute. If accountability is an issue, so is the ownership.

Yeah, I've been using it wrong for years then 😂 FML.

Mowbray had a dream He changed the football team We have tall strikers but he played them on the wing And at his expense Stuck Dack on the bench We’re Blackburn rovers We’re finishing tenth.

Does tasty mean something different than 'thing I like' and I'm using it wrong?

Always liked those games, myself. The more relatively local away games, the better.

For fun, I'm going to throw some names of ex-managers at big clubs who we might be able to get in. Googling lists of these, rather than through knowledge: Ex-Utd: Solksjaer Ex-City: Pellegrini (he's Chilean), Hughesy, Pearce, Sven. Ex-Liverpool: Benitez, Souness, Hodgson, King Kenny. Ex-Chelsea: Benitez, DiMatteo, Villas-Boas, Scolari, Grant. Ex-Spurs: Ramos, Jol, Santo, Mason, Sherwood, Villas-Boas. Ex-Barca: Koeman, Setien, Valverde. Ex-Real: Benitez, Pellegrini, Ramos, Schuster. Ex-Juve: None Ex-Milan: Giampaolo, Gattuso, Montella, Brocchi, Inzaghi, Mihajlovic, Seedorf. Ex-Inter: Spaletti, Vecchi. I thought it'd be therapeutic but no...

Starting to genuinely look forward to more tasty games next season: Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Wigan, Stoke. Not that it would ever happen, but fate could even add Bolton, Accy, Morecambe, Fleetwood, or Crewe to that the following year. My favourite season (can't remember exactly) was in the PL when there were 9 NorthWest teams: Mancs x2, Liverpool x2, Rovers, Bolton, Burnley, Wigan, Stoke.
