  1. But if Birmingham beat Burton (they go to 50) and then get nothing from their three remaining games, which on paper could happen (Villa, Hudds & Bristol), we need 7 points plus a better GD. But if Burton win at Birmingham, Birmingham on 47 and then get nothing with the three remaining games, which on paper is possble (Villa, Hudds & Bristol), we would need 4 points plus a better GD. If and buts, football not played on paper....we need to beat Bristol .....things will be a lot clearer at 5pm Monday.
  2. Looking at remain fixtures IF Burton beat Big Club on Monday, Big Club's remaining games of neighbours Villa (a), promotion hopefuls Huddersfield (h), followed by a last game at Bristol is a tall order and their current tally of 47 points could be curtains. We need to beat Bristol and hope Cardiff beat Forest. That will at least drag other clubs more into the equation.
  3. Was thinking the same. They're on 47 points with -19 goal difference and still to play Burton (h), Villa (a), Huddersfield (h) and Bristol (a).
  4. Agree to a point JH but I can't blame TM. He can only work with with the crap he has.
  5. Don't think we should worry about teams above the line. Just worry about what venkys have done and the end of a great club.
  6. Think there is some truth in the fact that because some (or many) players know they will not be given a new contract, their play has suffered and performances have got to what we saw yesterday against Barnsley. TM has a job on his hands because he needs to start from scratch and with owners as we have, now that he knows more, will he still want to be here in August??
  7. Totally agree RS. If Tony Mowbray had been appointed two months earlier we would have been talking about Championship football for next season right now. Not Senior's fault. Don't expect comments from the venky camp.
  8. Ian Moore was born in Blackburn now lives in France. Always a Rovers fan.
  9. Interview sounds good. He talks of fine margins, keeping fit and scoring goals. Obviously we are in a mess (understatement) but TMs passion could be the difference. A win on Friday is a must for me.
  10. Game ended 1 1 but Rovers won 3 2 on penalties after a few missed.
  11. Former Blackburn End ST Holder

  12. Bobby did a maintenace job on my alarm system a few years back. Nice chap very professional. Going back many years ago after he had long finished playing football, I played against him on Witton Park astra turf. His game was still there and as expected he was thinking two or three passes ahead of most of mine and did a lot of shouting on the pitch, which is why he made it at professional level. Think he played for Colchester at some point.
  13. Whoever wears the shirt,, we'll be 100% behind them!! Win this game and it'll take us to 53 points and pull others into the mix.
  14. Followed Rovers up & downs for years and current down will not stop me supporting the club. Love local football and will never be tempted to follow a bigger club. Don't get me wrong nothing wrong with MUFC, MCFC, LFC etc everyone is part of the game but I'm a one club fan.
