  1. Digestive, not chocolate. For years I also tried Rich Tea but usually got 2/3rds in the cup.
  2. In I think the first public words on this subject Waggott said that all proceeds, whatever they are, from the sale of the STC would go into the redevelopment of the JTC. Well it's best I just say that if this all goes ahead there must be a financial oversight committee - if only on the owners behalf................
  3. Reading have lost their last 3 home games, enough said!
  4. You have not misinterpreted any plans, there aren't any, just broad brush strokes. This is all about getting outline planning permission for the STC, which can then be progressed at some point that suits the 'climate' Waggott ''we'd also need the design of the building in square meters, which will probably be two storeys for classrooms, gyms and everything else'' Unless you can fit an indoor pitch into a single storey building Maggott could actually be right on that one.
  5. Fantastic collection. Most look like Talbot's
  6. I maybe shouldn't say it but that made be laugh, because it's true and Ryan at CB is a serious alternative to playing a young boy who can't jump. Douglas can't be a worse RB than he is a LB either. What a sorry state of affairs. On the match itself - no chance. BB has already scored where he hits it on the sweet spot so the chance of that happening again is about the same as me driving the Mars Rover. In person. I'll be up at 3 am watching and hoping for a win, draw or at least a good 'performance'. The Journey continues.
  7. What is the current status of the land on which the JTC is located? It falls outside of the original Brockhall footprint and was bought when greenfield, I think, so can't be used for residential. Can they even plan to erect a huge indoor training centre that has to be as high as a 2 storey house down there, that will impact on the value of any number of residential properties close by. Do the residents of Brockhall really want to see the narrow roads running from the entrance gate, winding through the Village and down the hill, used as a busy thoroughfare? I hope that there is opposition from the Village, I don't have much faith in local authorities. As I have said before the JTC site cannot house all of Rovers (current) training activities. That is why there are no detailed plans or costings available for the JTC redevelopment. Why spend money on something that cannot be done. Much easier to say all proceeds will go 100% to the new ''thingy''. I wonder why Architects from Bedford were selected for the Design and Access Statement, no one local capable?
  8. We parted as intimate friends, with a smile on her face ...... and mine ........ 😉 TBH she was a bloody cracker, down visiting her Aunt for 2 weeks. I sometimes think of her when .........😇 It was great knocking around with a girl and not understanding a word she said.
  9. Well that was an interesting interlude. Reminds me of the lad who went to the Zoo, up to the Tiger cage, stuck his hand in and then cries when it got bitten off.
  10. And also did ok in some Cup competitions IIRC
  11. Nice one! Blew the bullshit lie of ''Plenty of struggles during the 80s'' right out of the water.
  12. Maybe a point away at Millwall and home to Bristol City but can't see much else
  13. I am not sure that Mowbray even with Maggott's support and, alleged, threats to walk himself, will be able to blag his way out of what is going to happen in March's fixtures. Barring a miraculous improvement we are in for a hard time and I expect us to finish the month around 18th position. If that doesn't finish off the most boring man in the world nothing will. Even the FBFC* may turn on him. * FaceBook Fanboy Cult
  14. I met a girl from East Kilbride back in the Summer of 1970 who could do a good one, it was during summer hols from school and World Cup on TV
  15. I just woke early so all of the above plus I spent 10 mins working out the discussion is about Baps
  16. Waldorf & Statler sound ok after a goal.
  17. Its down that tunnel somewhere. If its a piss he needs Venus is handy.
  18. Worth watching just to see the 2 great kits on show
  19. I wouldn't work 17 hours a day for Maggott, certainly not at a per word pay rate.
  20. Well a quick glance on Google maps will show a number of properties overlooking the JTC with legitimate rights and to my mind a very strong case to oppose floodlights at the JTC. Will tenants want a busy road running the full length down the middle of the village. Anyway the JTC site is not big enough unless some teams are binned. They may do it but it will not be Cat 1. It's a cash raising exercise that will need careful monitoring on expenditure. It would be awful if our beloved owners lost out in anyway now wouldn't it, especially as they don't seem to be involved in its planning........
  21. Whatever the Derby/Forest result is tonight we will drop a place to 16th on 39 points. Coventry are 20th on 34 points and will fancy getting something from this game. We should win if we can cut out the boobs in defence, and Armstrong scores. I expect quite a decent game of football. My opinion of Coventry is soured by a Bobby Gould goal a long time ago and more recently for their being, unknowingly, used as a training ground for the Brockhall cartel.
  22. It quite upset me when I saw that cnut again.
  23. Waggot is now saying in the above Q&A that he is the man driving this and that not only will all money received from the sale of STC be spent 'down the hill' at the current JTC, but also that it may not be enough! Well that's a good way of saying Ewood Park gets nowt of any surplus. How if this project is at such an early stage as claimed he can make such statements in a financial sense is quite beyond me. I can't stress how important proper oversight of all aspects of this is needed if it goes ahead and a tracking of ALL parties involved.
