  1. The absence of Tosin and the inclusion of Hoofball Williams destabilised our defence and that 'fear' quickly spread throughout the team. I am so sorry that we had no one capable of giving Morsy a feckin good kicking. He is a thug wearing boots who happens to be also a more than competent footballer. Is a manager putting head in hands some sort of inspirational mind game that completely passes me by? In the first half, we played like a bunch who only met up an hour or so before the game. I just can't understand how as the home team and in-form we can be so NOT up for this game. It does not speak well of our levels of coaching and motivation. If I had to pay to watch that tripe I would feel cheated. Walton was our MoM by a country mile. That kind of sums it up!
  2. I am watching on a perfect and free stream. That's the only positive I can come up with. Bumper crowd, on Telly all over the world and complete shite. At least Williams has in just 45 minutes proven we desperately need a CB and LB in January so thanks and fcuk off Derrick.
  3. I am going to watch both of the Club World Cup matches today. I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. For hors d'oeuvres I will go Everton v Arsenal
  4. Proving that prices can be changed during the Season whatever the pre-season announcement was.
  5. A bad Ref decision made worse by the booking. The commentators were spot on. If the Ref actually saw the incident then it was a penalty. The booking was just guesswork.
  6. I hope it is really selling well and not freebies for the only game on TV that day anywhere in the known universe. I look forward to watching it and the bumper crowd.
  7. Just trying to absorb picking a Rovers team and leaving an uninjured Dack on the bench. I may well have to go for a lie-down.
  8. As incredibly tedious as reading you and others dislike Paul Cook and Wigan?
  9. Just this morning on YouTube I watched a quite recent 30 minute video on Sheffield United and the Wilder effect. Early into it, there is a Fan talking about their dark days and how proud he still is of when they won the Fourth Division title. Its in the record books, with the word WINNERS.
  10. Well said, Stuart. Our manager then embarrassed Rovers by rubbishing the value of coming first, He did that ATE, after the event, IMO as a bit of arse covering. To those who are saying look at Wigan now, I will just say WTF has that to do with anything.
  11. DoF rules, the rest of us have no useful opinion .......... apparently. SSDD
  12. Cook said nothing that wasn't true and Wigan came top, a feat which our manager promptly rubbished. Anyway, Wigan has always been home to a good Rugby League team and Morsy still plays for them.
  13. Rhodes or Dack Rhodes goals helped keep us out of L1 and Dacks goals got us out of L1 I do like Danny G though
  14. As a big fan of JR I would not swap him for SG. I have seen enough now of SG to think that going forward he might well turn out to be a decent player for us. He certainly puts a shift in. On BB he did make a few good things happen, a good through pass out left to a Rovers player, Bell? and a very good move and pass to create a very decent chance for Johnson. He lacks a decent first touch, doesn't have the pace I thought he had and very early in the second half chickened out of going for a long ball, he looked where the defender was and opted out of any challenge, Not good! Swap BB for Rhodes? even Wendies are not that thick.
  15. A very fair summary. We played well all over the pitch and deserved to win but did have Lady Luck in our bed. I do think that over time we will see a lot more from Holtby.
  16. Whilst admitting his team were suffering from fatigue the manager keeps changes to a minimum. Oh, to avoid confusion that's the City manager
  17. It's nonsense from the Club. I can buy a match pass in TH as its not on live TV here, same applies in all countries that are not carrying it live
  18. https://m.livesoccertv.com/match/3336303/bristol-city-vs-blackburn-rovers/ It's on a lot of International TV so will be easily available
  19. In Brentford's new stadium the seats are in a variety of colours (red, burgundy, green, yellow and off-white are the colours used by Brentford). This is being done to create the effect of a full house on TV. I suppose it has a somewhat similar effect for those in the ground. Waggott needs a paintbrush and a lot of paint.
  20. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/december/hes-crucial-to-the-way-we-play/ I wonder if Spurs have the same problem with Kane? playing him after he's been away at Internationals so not up to speed with his teammates, who've probably been frolicking in Dubai. I do try to wean myself off reading Mowbray but its strangely addictive.
  21. We were the better team and a deserved win.
  22. Watching this thanks to Rams TV, the commentators are decent and fair. Travis should have taken the shot on. Downing OK but he did cause Derbys best scoring opportunity, Tosin oozes class.
