No different from any team that's gone before them really. -

😟😟 Nah, think you've got our DNA wrong, lab must have mixed up the samples. We're the ender of streaks for a team on bad times desperate for a result. One that hasn't won at home all season, hasn't scored a goal in 9 hrs of football, hasn't scored a set piece since 2019 etc etc. Our own runs, good or bad, we tend to keep going. See the QPR win and Wigan loss this season as evidence. And Burnley and West Ham to come in next month. Now, if Birmingham were on some bad run of form recently I'd be worried, but as they've been doing ok, I'm less concerned. Keep the faith! And definitely don't blame me if the faith is unrewarded....... I'll be in hiding anyway. -

We're World beaters at home against Birmingham in October dating back to 1922. They've never beaten us. Record reads: DWWWWWW That irrelevant and useless fact gives me full confidence we're going 3 wins on the spin. 2-1. -

Beware, what Tony says and what he does are often complete strangers. He told us "defenders are coming" for years and we're only close to sorting it now with the additions of Brittain and Hyam. He talks a good game, the reality can be very frustrating. -

He gives the best interviews in any of the leagues. Can't think of any other footballer that looks so happy and full of enjoyment whilst dealing with the media. He should be shown to every school team and academy around. That's how you deal with pressure, scrutiny and fame. Particularly after the transition he's been through. Fantastic example to set. How many times could a valuable player walk away on a free at the end of a season with full backing and fondness from most of the fans. Unheard of. -

Nailed on penalty and potentially a fraction offside. This could be the first Mowbray interview I've looked forward to in about 3 years. -

No doubt. Got away with one. 😎 Lovely left foot from Diaz. -

How the f is Brittain's a foul but not that. Exactly the same kind of contact, but one of them actually won the ball. -

His Mrs was I think. Would JDT really know what goes on in social media. In other news, Google doesn't know who Garrett is so just has just left his man nameless in the lineups. -

Is it perhaps a lifestyle thing with Dack. Is he still doing the TV stuff with his missus? Maybe JDT doesn't approve. I don't get it. The style of play/pressing argument doesn't sell to me, because even if that was true, you still keep a player like Dack on the bench just to chuck on if desperate in the last 10 mins. -
Ref deserves some credit for letting the game flow. Hope there's more of that. They said they were going to do it this season, and are delivering for me so far. Not having the moaning about Var then stepping in either. Don't blatantly pull shirts then. An arm round the shoulder etc may be overlooked, but a clear clothing tug is getting given every time.

Yep, need some out balls, and we actually have a few on the bench nowadays. -

He could be worth 120 million right now, we still wouldn't be seeing a penny of it. But he was very poor tonight, seemed always on a different page to his teammates. -

180 day record or something they said. Like with the 0 out of 10 saves for the keeper last week, we'll always end the runs. It's what we do. Over and over. -

Nah, just young. He'll learn. That's unfortunately where we're at. A mechanism for the future stars to get all their howlers out the system. Just got to suck it up. He's a cracking player, happy to have him this season. -

I was wondering that. It's rescheduled from the weekend after the Queen's death so everyone had a game cancelled. Only those 4 clubs catching it up this week. Weird. Suppose we'll get a rest when all the others play their matches. Not bad timing for us tbf as the squad is fairly injury free at moment so not complaining. -
The Worst Match You’ve Ever Seen…
Silas replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
2006, Sheff Utd v Rovers. Birthday weekend with some neutral friends, VIP booked at Gatecrasher Leeds after. Promising team sheet- Friedel, Bentley, Tugay, Gamst, Benni McCarthy etc. We were all hyped, even taught them the Shabani Nonda song. One of the poorest 0-0 draws I've ever endured. Absolute garbage. That, and the 7-1 at Old Trafford under Big Sam are the worst live matches I've suffered. Mainly cos I was in the home end and got laughed out the stadium by the 100 or so people around us once my "pals" announced me as a Rovers supporter.
