Did you not get an invite to the VIP section? Well this is awkward.

Tbf is the ref's hands not tied if a keeper is sparked out, regardless of whether he gave the penalty away. I'm guessing that's standard protocol not to have people tapping into an empty net with him out of action. We should be good enough to convert the pen though. -

Would genuinely have preferred Ayala to him. A 31 year old cool head. Why give it the new young lad and heap all that pressure on him....at an away ground. Really stupid. -

Lee Hendrie. He's watched us Sat v Millwall and tonight, and it's bursting his blood vessels despite no emotional investment. -

Really is. Looks lost out there. JDT should be astute enough to see that and make the change. -

We've really mastered the "passing triangles that take you 50 yards backwards" technique. -

Yeah, a couple yellow cards if we carry on with the desperate hacking people down. -
So, it seems that Mark Zuckerberg booked out the whole UFC arena to himself to watch the event last night: What a sad story. I could understand doing it at a movie premier, or a classical music concert.....some event where crowd atmosphere and participation isn't vital. But paying for fight night without a crowd seems like you're taking all the fun out the event...for yourself and the athletes. And this is the guy that claims to want to 'connect' the World and build friendships and relationships. 🤔

I watched a bit of this last night. Was a cracking free-flowing game. Lot easier to achieve in a friendly with no pressure I suppose. Was impressed with the striker Balogun. I'll be honest, I've never heard the name before in my life. He look good in person?

Won't get any form though if he's not playing for his club. Could well be the last game he starts for a while barring the odd token Europa match. I don't like kicking the guy when he's down, but the Maguire question should be finished now. No way you should take a player so low on form and confidence to the biggest Tournament on the planet. Insanity. Big test of Southgate's metal for me. Under duress at moment too. But he's always said he'll pick on form. If he doesn't here, he's going to look weak. I'm all for loyalty, but it's way past that.

A legend of the sport shows how it's done:

The one thing this has unearthed to me, is how angry people are about our World Cup win in 2019: Was news to me, but the number of people genuinely comparing the two situations is mind blowing. A 100% accident (which everyone agrees) vs a planned, and ordered by the captain, purposeful action. Couldn't be more apples and oranges. The fact that some are even using this as part of the debate shows how weak their argument is.

Hang your heads in shame India women. Pre-meditated, and planned. Dirty stuff. I would even be okish with it if the batter was stealing a few metres. But this wasn't that. And I'm not interested in all the "It's legitimately in the rules!" It's not in the football rules to give the ball back after an injury throw in, but we all know the crack, and wouldn't want to score a goal and win a game that way. Some things transcend rule books.
-
Tbf I'd prefer that to the standard over-hype.
-
At least we're playing a decent standard of opposition in 2 warm up games. Didn't we used to play crap like Slovenia before Tournaments, and then wonder why we started comps half baked.
-
Only just switched on, how's Maguire done? I felt like this was a big game for him. Try prove doubters wrong. Just put in a good break saving challenge a few mins ago.

It's not a VIP club. Just people need to request access, so then they're fully aware of what they've signed up to and can't moan if someone insults them. You've probably just slipped through the cracks, I'm sure someone up top will find your email and get you activated soon.

Just finished The Responder on iplayer. Only 5 episodes. Martin Freeman as a bent scouse copper. Very good show. Gritty and realistic. Was written by an ex-policeman from Liverpool area. And it shows.

Dolan got skinned by Bell to start that move off. Far too easy to walk past your man. -

I always like to check the H2H record to get the lay of the land. If I'm reading right we've NEVER beaten Luton away in the league, dating back to 1937. One cup win in 2007. Let's see if JDT has the magic touch to start breaking some hoodoo's. Luton away win, a win over Burnley, and a first win over West Ham in 12 attempts would put a few curses to bed. -

Champions league, but put in here cos he does it regularly in the Prem. No wonder Chelsea fans moan. So bad: I'm guessing he gets a healthy appearance fee for this garbage. Robbery if so.

Weimann seems to rip us to shreds every time we play him. Best player on pitch so far for me. -
